Does your garage have a lift?

It has an old air lift in the front, you can just barely see it in this pic...

Cool place. I hope that lift works - that would be cool to get it working.

More picts of your female friends?

Must be kinda cramped with 6 sisters.

Hahahahaahahaha, that ain't the half of 'em. They always make me scrub the floor while they go to the ball.

Cool to see your new place Evilfirbolg! We sold our house in town and will be moving into the 5th wheel in 30 days. I am a ways off on finishing our shop. We are trying to do it with as little debt as possible.

What's the story on the yota? I've seen that place in East Austin a couple of times. Think there's the bobbed pu and a couple of landcruisers. Got any more pics?

Thanks,
Jon D.

Welcome! Good to see someone who's "in it to win it". That takes commitment right there. You going to be part of "the crawl" this year for the Round up?

Hey Crow, looks like yer pushin reality callin that a gas station bein as I don't see any pumps on the island.

Nice lookin old double beam Globe you got there. Is the tank still good or are you gonna have to dig it?
Be real careful if you go to diggin the piston, them holes are damn dangerous. Lost a young fellow here 20 some years back in a piston hole when it collapsed on him.

Not being familiar with the term piston I am assuming you are speaking of digging up the tank under the round circle (piston?) of concrete shown in the parking lot?

Those inground hoysts have a hydraulic cylinder that goes down about 8 feet from the center of the rack, generally referred to as the piston. A lot of them have a seperate oil tank that is piped to the bottom of the cylinder to create lift.
Around here most of them got yanked because the tanks rotted and the oil leaked out to the surrounding dirt. The smart move was to remove the underground tank, clear the contamination, and install a new tank above the floor.
A little clever plumbing will let one of the 8" pistons pick over 10,000# with 100 psi of compressed air.
