I don't know why there aren't may Sheldon arbor presses around but the round ram design just isn't very common. Dake was another dominate small press maker you see all the time and I do like the Dake ratchet mechanism. I would love to find a Sheldon #45 press or similar adjustable table model from one of the big makers though. Ed.
