After reading thru the ratchet rebuild thread, I took 20 minutes out tonite and refurbed my 30 year old 3/8" and 1/2" pear head Craftsman ratchets. Cut the springs and lubed 'em up and they are smooth as silk now. Can't believe the difference. On another note, I tried to fix a Husky (Stanley) teardrop ratchet, but it still reverses:headscrat. I'm not too upset, Stanley warranted it a few months ago and sent me a Husky and a Stanley! I figured I'd try to turn one into three.:thumbup:
