Anyone make a moisture absorbing mat for tool boxes? I toss those 'do not eat' packs in the drawers all the time to help prevent rust. But if there were mats that did that - absorb rather than give China rubber smell - that would be great.

If you Google "anti rust liner", you'll find lots of liners that help prevent rust but they don't absorb moisture. They release VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitors) so they only work in an enclosed space like a closed tool box. There are also plastic storage bins that release VCI.

I'm not aware of any mats that are desiccants. That idea seems sort of counterproductive. Tools are in contact with the liner and the whole idea of a desiccant is to absorb moisture away from the tools. Keep using the packets for this purpose.
