i've seen a couple threads about whats the one tool you couldnt live without, have to have ect...
lets change it up. whats the one tool you dont need, wont buy again. not wanting a brand such as that x tool from harbor freight or craftsman ect... just the tool in general

if you want we can have the one tool you have to have and the one you dont need.

mine would be

have to have ....torches, they have saved me countless hours from removing stuck bolts to cutting

one i wont buy again... crows foot. dont think i have ever used them, however i'm not a mechanic so that may be different for one in the business

I was so excited to get a nice router and bits from my Amazon wish list from my wife. I played around with it until I became competent using and never touched it again.

Can't live without: I know you said no brands but it's this exact design that I've become so dependent on. I use it dozens of times in a work day but never for it's intended purpose.1cbff184e259cef636ae1e2854a0026b.jpg

That oring spoon is awesome. Working on hydraulics a bunch it has definitely proven its use. I have 2.

Could do without/would not buy again? That is a toughy. I have plenty of automotive specific tools that i haven't touched in 8 years..... i guess the 7.3l powerstroke injector cup removal tools that were only $400 that i only used once on one cup takes the cake.

17mm protective socket from matco. Only use it to torque wheels and still only lasts about a month or so.
