With all do respect, your little garage is very cute. And I must admit that your design is very appealing. But allow me to submit my dream shop that I built a few years ago when I lived in Nevada. Unfortunately I had to move because of a job change right after I finished it. And actually it was the Barn that sold the property… the house went along with it.

Main features:
30 X 40 Shop in the center w/ 12' doors 14' celing & 4' X 16' pit.
16 X 60 storage garage on one side.
16 X 60 stock feeding area on the other side.
30 X 20 hay storage in the back.
Overall size 62 X 60.

Man I miss that barn.

Sorry, that's a shed, not a barn! This is a barn. Built a hundred years ago and all I have to do is fill it!:bounce:

MuleSkinnerDave - Nice Barn. Are those 4x4's that you use to cover your pit? Also how deep is it?

I have a 85X56 one myself that I keep all my Toys in. Picture below is the 56 foot side. Over the next year I plan to bring electric and water into it, and then connect up to the drain field.

Yes. The pit is 4' wide 16' long and 4' deep. There is a 2x4 sill all the way around the top edge. The 4x4's were plenty strong to drive on. They were a bit of a pain when I wanted to open the whole pit because there so many of them to move. I probably should have made it deeper at one end as I still had to use ramps or jackstand and lift the car a little to do some jobs (like exhaust work). But it was great for quick oil changes and the like.
