That was good of you to help out.
Pictures or all you did was haul lumber around in your truck.

Well here the final product. 462ed8e9b808b880eef601e194cc85e6.jpg

I was asked if I could build 1 table which turned into 3. LOL. All pressure treated 2x6x8 with few 2x4x8s for few thing. I rounded over all the sharp corners with a router and sanded any possible areas needed so kids wouldn't be sprinters. We are waiting for the PT lumber to dry out before any staining or painting that they might want.

Or you could apply Grizz's theory - "if you can't fix it with a hammer - you've got an electrical problem, mate!".

I've found that it is man's nature to fill any space with stuff, no matter how big it is. So that little building would be "stuffed" with stuff before long. But think how many boxes you could put in there Gerard.:willy_nil WOOHOO

Well, it's been awhile since I really updated things around here. I really been busy working on other off site projects and really havnt had time to do my own. Yes, the old shoemaker who kids don't have shoes or the carpenter whose house is never done.

Since now I have to keep up with the Spencer's ( LOL, Love ya Herb) I've been spending free time working on the landscaping but DAMN it's been HOT! In Florida it's really great when it rains. Lawns all green and grows really quick. Downside is those F@CKING weeds. I don't have a problem in the yard but my paver patio in back and driveway gets crazy.

Usually I don't even mess with them. I break out way string trimmer and cut them out. It's works but with the tropical storm and all days of rain the followed it really got out of control. So I decided to get out the pump sprayer, some round up and GO TO WAR!

I can't take credit for this but I did see it at buddy shop who was a mechanic for a landscape company.

Only thing this is top of a Gatorade bottle with hole cut in it. It allow weed killing to be sprayed on weed and not everywhere else.

Works great and I use fan spray on the wand. Each RAT ******* weed got it own personal shower of round up. [emoji1303]

On other news I finally decided a layout for the Wall of Craftsman. Well I figured it out few weeks ago but Sunday was first day I had to work on some of my own stuff. I built a custom bracket to hold 2 chest.

Now the 2 6D chest are on the wall.

It was HOT Sunday.

Oh if asking what's 10* that would be new garage frig I'm testing out. Not sure if working right or gonna trust it. Still seeing if can get it working to Sub zero temps.

I also made a huge F@CKING mess to.

Now I got to make the 10D brackets but think I finally got ALL my G/R Craftsman collection all in one spot.

I can still open drawer on small ones too or move when needed.

I'm still thinking out my vise for this bench also. The Reed or POS Chinese vise.

The POS Chinese vise has been my workhorse vise since I found it. It's really the biggest vise I have. baff66e4c4b744cf1db0721bb16aaf9e.jpg

With this bench now smaller vise size has become a issue. I like the Reed but where do I put the POS. Now if I found a 519x Craftsman vise dirt cheap that decision wouldn't even be a problem.

Also DP area.

I must say moving this to the end was a smart decision. Still havnt done much to tweak this area but in future I will. Until next time it's beer 30.

Well I gotta say that your work on the CM wall in hot weather has paid off big. It looks great they way they are arranged. And I immediately spotted those two drawer boxes tucked in there. Nice location for those as well. I would say that this layout has become your most usable one to date and looks good too.

My vote on the vise choice would be the Reed unless you really use that extra jaw width a lot. And I only choose it from a visual standpoint. Aside from being a great vise it just looks the part as a classic USA design in front of other classic USA tool boxes. The Chicom one does the job I'm sure but looks like an invader.

Now, you just have to paint and restore all those tool boxes to be complete!
