Well it's been over a week still the FC gathering... And safe to say place is still standing.

Well I went ahead and started on my new welding cart.
e7a7578146f7f5eede825d819f2afa9a.jpg

The plan was to build a 18x24x 38in cart to replace the smaller one I build awhile back. I had all the steel cut and tacked up. I had to do this in order cause being extremely low on steel I just had enough to build the new cart. The old cart would be cut up and used for the 10D chest brackets. I ended up using the one bracket I had for the drill press. After all is said and done I got another chest hung on the wall.

And the wall all back together

I even added some wallpaper to save some painting. LOL. Just kidding this one was already repainted.

I even made little hanger for the DP corner.

Hopefully I'll have the garage all cleaned back up by the weekend cause I MIGHT have some new pieces showing up next weekend. Well, there coming but I'm going to make you all wait until I post it next Sunday or Monday. Trust me it's well worth it the wait.

Well I'm glad that other craftsman imposter couldn't deal with the pressure and has gone away.

Did you find the tracking devices the boys planted on them ? We are making sure that wall of craftsman stays complete, or that could just be me dreaming.

Now you have us in suspense again with new stuff coming.:Twitch:

YES SIR, that will work out fine. You see I seen what's hiding on other side of the shirt. LOL. Now it just depends on how she shakes it. I side to side motion or up-and-down motion? I think will try both and compare.

I did my part to help G have a happy wife. Gerard and his wife are down in our neck of the woods and my wife and I met them for dinner.

Well, G going to spend some time at my place and his wife wants to hit the outlet malls here, and was asking about a particular store. I told them where it was and she asked how far from my house was it, so she could go by tomorrow. I replied, you can go tonight, open till 10:00 pm:evil:.

I thought I caught a possible dirty glance from G:lol_hitti:lol_hitti.

Sorry man, happy wife, happy life.

Enjoyed the company at dinner. I'll try not to throw you under the shopping bus tomorrow.:D

Well, Gerard and wife are on thier way back, but not before I helped him fill his truck, including overflow into backseat. I received a stern warning about finding stuff for him to buy. Didn't get a picture before the Sanford and son style load left, but I'm sure G will post up later.

We had a good time, both wives present for part of it, hopefully they didn't exchange phone numbers, could crimp our supply line.:lol_hitti

She was something about how the truck was really hers and he should have the car.......:dunno:. I tried to help him out but she has evidently heard it all already.

Thanks for stopping by G And S, we enjoyed the visit.

Why is my ride worthy of a picture and Gs isn't. :dunno:

Glad you all had a great time. Vicki and I had a nice relaxing trip in St. Augustine. Now it's time to get busy on house and shop projects.

Thank you Craig. Had fun and even discussed this shop layout you putting in place. I'm starting to see the light with your design. As always there's never enough time to spend shooting the **** and talking shop. I think at this point we are both on the non buying anything program. I do think with all are recent buys that we are really set to make big head way in but out shops. I believe it's time to concentrate our "enabling" on friend to the North. LOL.

Well guys it's been a week and just got back from a run from CB house. I'm really starting to believe that all the good stuff is ending up in SW FL for some reason. Well, once I built the Wall of Craftsman I really felt that is really needed a vintage DP and vise to go with the "vintage" theme. So here's my new vintage drill press for the Wall of Craftsman.

This thing is massive and tall.

It's also comes with the extra removable 3rd pullie.

It works as is but is cracked and aged after 64 years so I'll replace that. Otherwise, I'll clean her up, and use her until I get time to restore her properly.

Just to put in perspective how huge these drawers are here's it compared to one of my Craftsman drawers.

I haven't decided on exactly what will go in there but I know this will replace my red lateral file cabinet.

Two great additions to your shop. I love that classic head piece of the King-Seely DP and that monster cabinet has a really cool old classic style and should give you lots of storage space.
Congrats!!!

Very nice acquisitions. Where are you going to put the DP? You are going to have to rearrange everything again to make room. ;)

Now if only shipping me the red lateral cabinet was easy....

Watch out Dan, looks like Gerard and Craig will be trying to enable you. :lol_hitti

Very nice DP. I guess we will get the plan sometime this week. The cabinet looks very useful. Will it be able to replace any totes or buckets?

Thanks, it's just what I needed for Craftsman wall. Actually, I really needed the storage cabinet the most. It's so big I'm having hard time picking what's going in there.

Well I have a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan WTF put in place. If anything I hate getting rid of things but as new items come in the old must go. The old DP is spoken for and the lateral file new home is yet to be determined yet.

It's too bad it wasn't easier to get it to you. I doubt that would fit in your carry on luggage on your way back from your visit.

Excellent score Gerard. I'm with GB on this one. Is it time to rearrange it all just one more time:D

Thanks, well I've come to realization that some things are staying where they are and only have certain areas I have some room to play with. I have a good idea I'm thinking of but just waiting on a friend in St Pete to get back on dry land. LOL

OK guys, G sounded the he needs help call. He doesn't know what to put in there so make sure to jump on the enabling train and give him ideas, send EBay and CL listings to him, a big empty box needs to be filled up.
