Plans are with the structural engineer. Expect to go into permitting in 30 or so days!

HOA approval, check; landscape architecture ( a requirement here ) check; MEP engineering, check; financing, cash ;) ( get it ?)

All else is organized and ready to go! Lot looks like a golf course ,right now.

Hi from a fellow (SW) Broward resident... Very nice plans, a bit jealous actually. ;)

Ah... :Gun1:Permitting...:shoot5: the bane of much of s.FL.

Since it looks like a golf course, you may want to find a nice high corner of the lot (or a neighbor's) that you can take a pic from... that shows everything (or even one from each corner).

If you can get one a day (maybe every other day during slow times and more on especially busy days) you'll be able to put them together at the end of the build and have a cool little "movie" of your house being built. It may not be as interesting to others... but after all of the time, thought, and headaches you're about to invest it probably will be to you. (Rather than a "movie," you could also put them in a digital frame that can be set to run thru the build.)

Anyway, hope it goes well for you :) I love to see things well built.

Hi! It has been a veeeery long process. Can't wait.

Hambro is preparing their package for the permit documents this week and MEP should also be completed by Friday.

How familiar are you with Weston?

I will set up a camera, must find a good one I can leave there.

! Juan

I've come to find out that timing estimates are not always reliable.....

I finally have MEP drawings in draft and final structurals today! Coordinating last details whilst roof designs are completed. Then permitting.

Great cars, great design!

I agree, the 911 series turned... less attractive... in '97. Really not a fan of that next revision.

IMO the 964 is the nicest looking. And everything changed forever once they let go the air cooled engines after the 993.

Can't comment on the red markings when you look at it on your phone. I'm on an IPad right now and they show correctly.

Roof drawings just received!

Back to 911's, 964 in particular. Very muscular yet subdued. A+

Subscribing, looks like a great project. I've always really liked the idea of a parking garage and separate workshop/garage.

Since I have no updates on the build, here is a photo from the grid at Sebring this weekend (before I went out and won the 45 minute night race overall!)

Er, looks like a great layout. Look forward to watching your build. One thing I noticed is you're not lacking bathrooms in your shop area!
I can't imagine permitting a house where you are. I do permitting all over the state, but it is mainly industrial. Some of the stuff they come up with is unreal.
