What's up,

I'm new to the site, I thought I would show you my garage or better know as the "Barage". It is an extended three car garage. 37" LCD , reciever above the the TV on a built in shelf. Below is a counter and a pair of cabinets with three shelves that is my charging station for my drill and impact batterys as well as my jump start box, there is cabinet space around the top front of the garage , plan is to do something to the floor in red, not sure what to use. Add air and a new fridge in black or stainless; there is also cabinets next to the fridge above and below the counter.

that looks pretty awesome....

Did you dress up the inside of those garage doors or is that an OEM covering on the door?

Alright... we need some more explanation about things. :spit:

How did you cover the garage doors, where did the corrugated metal come from (it looks like finer corrugation than most) Details man, we need details.

BTW.....I LIKE IT

Looks like a cool place to hang out.

Is it bright enough to work in? The walls look like they would eat a lot of light with that red.

AGREE with ALL these questions & comments. A nice, nice space. Yeah, it DOES seem like the red would make you need a whole lotta light.

I'm having a new garage door installed soon and I'd live to know what you covered your with too!

Trucks look slamin!!!! (no pun intended):pimpflash

The red one remindes me of my first truck, sort of, mine was a 1979, blue, the bed was mostly bondo and it had a 250 inline six. It wasn't much but it was mine.

Hey guys, sorry to throw up the pics and disappear for a couple days but I kinda got busy and didn't get a chance to get back on here.First off, yes I am a proud member of Negative Camber it is a great family to be a part of,and on to the garage doors they are standard insulated doors and we put aluminum flashing (used for roofing ) very thin easy to cut aluminum sheeting comes in 25-50' rolls and about perfect width and it is just slid in between the insulation and the metal lip of the door itself, very cheap and easy to do around $100.00 or less to do both doors and then painted the piece of door that you could still see with some aluminum color paint, as a matter of fact all the aluminum you see in there is done with the same flashing, the aluminum stripe , the doors for the upper cabinets are 1/4" masonite with the aluminum glued and rolled on to it.As far as the metal goes it came from the local lumber company, comes in 8' 10' 12' foot pieces and we just cut it in half for the walls the black on the ceiling was ordered to length and we just bolted it up.Lighting is not a prob the ceiling has two rows of 12' flourecents in the two car part of the garage and 1 8' row in the 1 car part and 1 4' row above the tool box fridge area, as well as 8 can lights in the ceiling above the garage area and 15 lights in the overhang around the roomfor a total of 50 bulbs in the garage (including under cabinet lights and opener lights and so on ) so even though it is red it still lights it up pretty well in there.Well gotta go for now ,anymore Questions I"ll answer next and I will work on getting more pics of everything as soon as I am on my other computer, I'll try to make it soon Thanks for all the compliments!!

Very cool shop! I bet when you're away and start for home, you tell everyone you're going back to Wentzville and have yourself a really good time:)*

Looks good.

Do you know the manufacturer of the corrugated metal you used on the lower part of the walls? I would be interested in knowing that.

Also, what tool did you use for cutting it... a jigsaw?

Same question for the aluminum flashing? Tin snips? If so, how many times did you cut yourself? :)

congrats on making the front page of GJ. the more i look at the few pics you have posted, the MORE pics i want to see! your garage really looks nothing like a garage. more like a car with a tool box in the middle of the bar. the barage is the perfect name for it!

Impressive, needs a sissor lift at a minimum, but otherwise I'd never go back into the house.

First off guys, Thanks for all the complaments but I can't take all the credit for the Barage , my best friend Jeff worked just as hard or harder on this project and he deserves as much credit as i do so Thanks buddy for all your expertise I couldn't have done it without you!! So some of you guyswere asking about the tin on the walls , I have no idea on a brand name I got it from Old Monroe lumber Company in Old Monroe Mo. as far as cutting it ,we cut all the pieces at one time with a circular saw with a metal blade worked really well there is black "J" channel at the top of the tin to seperate and not leave any sharp edges for anyone to cut themseles on , as far as the floor goes I'm scared to do anything on the floor ' as far as getting the right color ,peeling , I dont want do it in the first place , so I surely don't want to do it twice and get the bad up in between so I just keep putting it off, I need a sponsor like Race deck or U coat it (ya I know two different things but like I said I'm scared)there is still more I would like to do in ther but just out of my budget, I guess I need more than just floor sponsors!! Alright I am going to load more pics so you guys can see more of my Barage and I will try to stay more active on here, I'm not much of a typer but I will try to do better keeping up. So thanks again and thanks for feeling my Barage is worthy of the cover page of Garage Journal, it truly is an honor!!!!!

I am trying to upload pictures but it keeps telling me that a security key is missing but I will keep trying!!
