When I redid the Barage about 5 years ago I used some old commercial cabinets I got from an old auto shop.

They served the purpose, but had some issues. They were pretty beat, all the drawer rollers were patched together, sides weled together etc. another big issue was the uppers, which were really extra lowers. So because they were 24" deep, they had to be mounted pretty high so you didn't smash your head on them. Being so high and deep made them useless for normal storage. And the layout in the corner gave me about 5' of useable workbench.

My original plan was to just get a few New Age upper cabs, and replace the uppers I had. But home depot was having a 30% sale so I ended up with 10 new cabinets. Now I'm redoing the layout so all the cabinets and work bench will be on the side wall, and nothing will be on the back, except for some high shelves. ThAt 2.5' I pick up on the back wall is huge, I can then fit my 2 Willys Jeeps end to end in that bay for winter storage. The new layout should be much more user friendly. All the old cabinets are out now, time to move some outlets.

Wow, I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of the NewAge cabinets. They are made very well, and it was a nice bonus that they give you all the hardware you need to install them. I got all the old ones out, not an easy chore because they are heavy as a mother. Did some electrical, moved a couple outlets and put in a switched one for the under cabinet lights.

I have a couple more upper cabinets to install. The space to the right of the base cabs is for my welding table, The right wall where the old cabs were will get covered with more of the steel panels that are on the ceiling.

Pretty sweet. Those are the Pro Series 3.0 cabinets. They've changed the door design, can you post a close up picture of a wall cabinet door? I've tried to explain the redesign to customers but a photo would be better. :rocker:
