I've been lurking for a while now and found the few build pics I have from 1991. The barn is 40 x 60 x 14.5. Thought I'd post the pics as I find them. I started the build in May 91.

I have more pictures and as I locate them I will post them. I'd like to add that this build was done only with the help of family and friends. My dad now 70 has helped me with this more than anyone and has been much appreciated. The floor was poured in 2000 and the steel liner ceiling installed in 2007.

Are those electric eyes coming down on the wood above your lift? Or spotlights for the what I'm guessing is a disco ball?

Yes it's my oldest daughters disco ball. Both my girls would have their friends over, turn on the stereo and disco ball and play on the trampoline. Then all of them would have a sleepover on the trampoline.

Thanks, That 32 foot section of wall with the compressor and Sunoco stuff has been completely changed since those photos. I've been out there working on it again last night and today. When I take some vacation time in June I'll move everything in the barn outside and get some current pictures. My wife found a few pictures from when I rented a backhoe and ran the electric, natural gas, phone, water, compressed air (back up to the garage) and septic. I'll get them scanned and posted in the next day or two.

Here's the backhoe work from July 2003. I raised the driveway about 5 feet at the lowest point to bring it up level with the barn and front yard. I'd run the backhoe starting at 6am till my dad would show up after he got out of work. He'd then run it till dark while I was running the conduit and utilities.

All but 6 of the 8 foot lights I got for free from a contractor when they replaced all of the light fixtures in a commercial building. I have enough 4 foot fluorescent tubes and ballasts to last me 4 lifetimes.

Great looking shop, I really like all those lights. I don't know how old you are but the older you get the more you will appreciate all that light.
