I don't know if it just the Porsche and the table, but this shot reminds me of another garage.

This is the first gallery thread I have posted in - looks amazing. The wood wall looks awesome. Great detail everywhere.

That's a VERY generous assessment BBChevro. I'll never match the time, thought or organization that went into the 12GA Garage, but it doesn't hurt to dream...

Great looking garage, sweet Porsche!

What size is your garage door? Is it wider than 16'?

The door is 18' x 7'. It's easy to get the Porsche in alongside my boat of a 71 Charger and leaves plenty of room between cars.

Nice prints. Nice spots. The spot lights made me realize that I need to plan a bit more...

Ha - yeah I spent a crazy amount of time measuring and planning for the placement of lights and outlets, with a clear vision of the end goal. I'm also extremely **** (maybe undiagnosed OCD) about symmetry and things lining up "just so". This makes everything I do take longer than it should...

Oh man am I happy to see this thread back in active mode. I missed the update late last year, but the shop looks fantastic! Really nice work there. And I think you're way ahead of me.

Generally, most image hosting services will have different links available for different sizes. I can't speak to yours specifically (I have no experience with it) but that's typically how it works.

And yeah, on a regular computer, a bunch of your photos are so ridiculously large that it's hard to get a good look at what you're showing.

Thanks Modern Jess- I've been quietly following your build. You're getting there and it looks fantastic! I don't think I'll ever be ahead of you; your solution for temperature control alone is ingenious.

...pics- yeah not sure why that happened. I had been using a hosting site that was easy to use and scaled the photos properly, but they all got out of whack somehow. I'll figure something out or maybe just post up a few before-and-afters now that the space is coming together.

Note...I've been using Tapatalk on my iPad lately and, although the photos aren't great, it's so seamless and quick to use my iPads camera that I'll mostly be going that route from now on. So- apologies to all for the low-quality photos to come[emoji53]

Wow perfect balance of a little bit of wrenching space, chilling space, parking space...

And a superb 964 (I have a 92 GPW Targa). Damn I love driving the 964.

I just gave the entire thread a read. Very nice garage and I really like how the palette wall "pops". It also looks great with the retro type style lights. Awesome:rocker:

I also noticed that it looks like you have a Snap on KRSC10 cart in the corner. Do you have any other pictures of it? How do you like the cart? I have been thinking about getting a KRSC10 or KRSC326 to go with my Classic 78.

...here you go. You're exactly right. It's a KRSC10. I love this cart, but I'm also biased. I designed a good portion of it (with some help from a few great engineers), including the 2-shot bumpers and chassis / stand.

I (under)use it for auxiliary storage of all-things-electrical.

...pardon the mess.

I can say that this thing will withstand most of what you throw at it. I wouldn't hesitate to throw a transmission at it.

The casters are also a big upgrade from "lesser " carts and are military spec. And will roll over anything. (We call them "flight line castors", as in, they are spec.'d by the military for heavy use on runways / flight decks).

Sorry to suddenly sound like a salesman, but I stand behind the products I design[emoji6]

..ok, last thing. Check with your franchisee / supplier, but it really depends on your use / intent. Classic 78 is a nice box. What do you need in a cart? Do you want to be mobile, or do you need additional drawers?

Either way you're on the right track (says me [emoji4])

If you want mobility, go with the '10, if you need additional storage, do the 326. Just know hat it's the same cart (quality / weight capacity) with a different number of drawers.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the extra pictures. Its very hard to find information on the KRSC10 cart. That is awesome that you were the one that design the cart. You designed a very nice cart.

Not to side track the thread but to answer your questions my main purpose of the cart is for extra storage and mobility/work surface would be a very close second. I have a classic 78 in my home garage and I work in construction and a bit of a DIY when it comes to cars. I have been finding my 78 is a great box but when I start to put all my construct tools along with auto tools in it I am starting to run out of room. Initially I was thinking about getting a top box but it would be nice to have a cart for the portable work surface it provides. I do not have a big garage but just a cart even for detailing the vehicles would be nice. I really like the KRSC326 but I feel I would be using the top as a surface most of the time so I figure all my tools in the top compartment would be "blocked out".

Been away from GJ for too long...

Bob- there's a cart in the same series with a two-part sliding top (stainless) that might suit your needs (the part# escapes me). It's a bit wider, but has full drawers and a flat surface that separates rather than flips. Might be worth looking into. I'll try to post a p# if I can dig it up.
