Bench looks great!

I love the name of this thread, would have fit mine very well.

As far as the red outlets, what does red signify for an electrician?

Red generally signifies that the outlet is powered by a backup generator, they're typically used in hospital environments. Technically my shop is on an auto backup generator but I only plan to use them for the looks. :p

I checked the stain earlier, it looks great once it dries a bit.

I also installed the outlets, I'm waiting for the cover plates to dry.

That's purdy. I'd be afraid to use it and scratch it up.

I've come to the conclusion that it's going to get scratched, nicked and dented no matter what I do so I'm just going to live with it and enjoy it while it lasts. I've got other tables and areas for dirty or heavy stuff so I'm hoping to keep this looking decent as long as possible. We'll see, I'm trying to get it in place in a couple days when I get some help.

We finally were able to slide/jam this thing into place so I could start reassembling stuff.

I threw around a few different ideas on how to secure the boxes inside the frame but they're very stable even without weight in them. I did add some bolts to the bottom threaded holes on the box which are there to support the HF side boxes they sell. I basically just ran them out until they hit the metal frame on each side, it's all nice and tight now.

I need to pick up some more metric bolts today to do the other box so I can put the drawers back in this evening.
