I'm looking to buy the best Ford Spark Plug Rethread Tool. Which tool would you recommend?

I used the Fix a Thred kit to do mine. Worked fine, and have let a few other people use it with good sucess.

Ive used the fix a thread kit and the lisle kit both sucsessfully. But u did ask for the best and ones of the best is the time sert kit but it certainly isn't cheap!

I have this same kit and I don't like it. At the time of purchase, it was the only one available to me. I'm now looking to upgrade.

I bought the cornwell tool, worked well for me. I gave it to the guy I sold the triton too. Never again.

This. Used it on many occasions. If you use your truck as a truck, you only want to use kits that have an aluminum insert. Steel inserts change the heat range of the plug. Here is the link to the actual kit you want. http://www.timesert.com/html/triton_repair2.html

Inserts are aluminum so that the don't cause a hot spot like steel will. They are also mechanically locked in with a pin. Its not the cheapest but you can rent the tools from them

I don't know if it will work for you but it saved me a lot of trouble.

I don't know if it will work for you but it saved me a lot of trouble.

I bought one from MAC tools awhile back and it works well if you have the first thread crossed a bit.

Here is a video on it in use. Never had a failure, but this is specific to the 5.4. I've not used it on a 4.6 simply because I haven't seen one fail (I know they fail a lot, but around here nobody buys a 4.6L).

You bet on the seats! I got plugs.coming up.....hopefully its a nonissue.
