So I sold my white 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and picked up a new daily. I bought my dads 2014 GC Limited with 22k miles for a song.

This thing is way nicer than I deserve.

Well I built and sold another TV bar this week.

<snip>

I also took the gf to a huge antique sale in Atlanta and came across some more "art" for the shop wall.

The bikers and car guys should know why I like the sign so much. It looks great on the wall.

You ****. I love the sign!

There's others I'd love to have too... US221, NC226a, NC181, NC80. I love WNC... :3gears:

I really like those TV bars, fitting for me since I work in the industry (TV)... if I had a place for a bar.

Small update, but I have wanted an old oil barrel for a years to use as a shop trash can. Well my birthday is coming up in a few days and my gf's parents got this one for me.

I also have my a third meeting with a potential contractor this week to get the final estimate on my addition. If its anything close to his ball park I think it might actually happen.

So I actually spend a little time in my shop for the first time in what feels like months. Sunday I picked up another tv bar project. I may sell my current one and keep this for myself.

And then last night I got a few free hours to work on the m3. It was looking a little shabby so I claybar'd it and polished it with the buffer. I need to wax it, drcolorchip it, and clean the wheels and int Wed night.

It felt good to get back down there and get some work done. I am hoping to finish this up and give the shop a good clean this weekend. I may need to move some stuff around before they start on the addition.

Also found some mid century night stands. They were a little rough.

Cleaned them up with wax stripper and old english.

Great looking night stands! Got a closer pic of the top afterwards? I have a Franklin-Shockey mid century bedroom suite that is looking a little rough since it's such soft pine. Was thinking of a full refinish but would rather not.

Well I believe this is the first post I have made on GJ but this was amazing!! I love what you did with the place. If you dont mind me asking, what are you selling your TV bars for? I love the idea and would be interested! Good luck with the addition, I bet in a year you wont even be able to believe you lived with out it!!

Keep up the great work!

It just depends on what the tv cost me, distance driven to get it, and the work I put into it. Usually $375-$450.

I am almost done with the financing. I think we will have it all finalized by Wed. Once that is done I am going to talk to the contractor and see if hes willing to start sooner. In other news, I took the 02 to a BmwCCA meet.
