Met with the electrician and planned all the plugs and switches. The garage is going to be set up nicely.

I also got shingles. Roof singles not the painful bumps.

Looked thru the thread a little bit, but didn't see, what are you doing for siding on the addition? If brick, how are you going about finding a match? Looks good!

Brick. We have an awesome rock/brick guy and he assured us he could match it. There is actually a small brick company outside Atlanta that has been around since the 1900's and he is pretty sure that's where my brick came from and he might be able to get an exact match.

I'm up in Canton, GA and have been following this. Cool project!!

Are you talking about Pine Hall Brick? I went up to their place in Fairmount. I remember them saying that they can make close to a million bricks a day there. I used them for the pavers on my patio.

Not sure but that sounds familiar.

So they started some electrical today. I'll just post a couple pics because they are pretty boring.

Pour 2 out of 3 was put down yesterday..

I am fighting the urge to go pressure wash my driveway.....

It looks like the electrical is almost done and Im hoping for some brick and windows very soon..

I think they have everything sanded and the kitchen cabinets have been ordered. I cant wait to have doors and windows though, its pouring here and I want the house to stay dry.

Thats the plan but the old basement isnt to code so they have to put the doors up. I can actually get one of the 02's through the door so they might stay for a little while.

The kit came with a cleaner and a specialty leather cleaning pad(light scotch brite :lol_hitti), after that I used a filler product they offer. I put the filler on with a pallet knife, dry with a heat gun, and sand with 800 wet/dry. Then you put the dye on with the special applicator (sponge) in several light coats. After it rest for about 72 hours you rub this clear liquid on it, doing several coats in high wear areas. I think the last step is like a finally actuator or something but it evened out the color and made it smooth. Now to see if it holds up.

Keep us posted on how durable the finished product is. The stuff I used did not have a surface filler. Your results look incredible

Well the city finally came by and inspected the mechanicals. That was signed off on and after 2 weeks we have some progress. Sadly it's just insulation.

Yes it is! We got about 3-inches of accumulation in Peachtree City. I think I heard you guys got more!
