A little more progress today. The garage is insulated.

They are rocking out today, my guess is that they will have all the drywall and mudding done by the end of the day. Ill try to get some more pics when my parents stop by, since it will be dark by the time I get home.

Drywall is up, I am guessing they start mudding and taping today.

And the garage is dry walled. I am thinking that once Im in the house and the inspectors have left, I am going to change the boxing in of the plumbing, I think I have half the height.

Do you have heating inside yet? It's really tough to mud in the winter with regular mud and not have heat to promote the drying. Same for any paint work.

The heater is installed so maybe they will get that up and running first, but we have temps in the low 60's this week so it should be okay.

I think its going to be a really cool piece. Her dad is going to L-Shape the top drawers and shorten the 2nd drawers if necessary.

No house progress but the wagoneer project is coming along. The carb is installed and valve covers are on, I hope we can start it up in the next few weeks.

Still nothing happening at the house but legacy international sent some floor chip samples for the garage. I'm going for the Bmw m colors.



It's pretty close but I have a sample coming from another company, so I'll wait and see what that looks like.

Mpower, when the garage floor was poured was a vapor barrier installed. I'm guessing it was, but it is wise to make sure. I have also seen epoxy applications where logos were incorporated into the floor. I think the floor would look awesome with the M stripes and the rest of the floor white!

I haven't decided between white and light grey. Armorpoxy recommended that I steer away from white but I'm going to talk to legacy if I go with them.

I'm doing stripes on the walls. But for your shop my vote would be Gulf, I'm wearing a Gulf hat and watch strap right now.

We pressure washed it and used a little chassis paint but it wasnt too bad. The wag is at my parents house.

Alright, we some progress. It looks like brick will start this afternoon. They dropped off a cement mixer and a bunch of sand.



I got a stainless work table. Some assymbly required.



I got the contractor to put a lock on the door to keep people from snooping.



And I have doors. They are working on trim as we speak.



Sadly these will be the last updates until maybe Sunday but than likely late next week. I'm getting married this weekend and then heading out of town for a few days.

We are on our minimoon in Savannah, we are going to take a longer trip when the house is done and we are settled in but I need to brag about my wife. She surprised me with this amazing groom's cake at the rehearsal.





And then the morning of the wedding she surprised me again with cufflinks made out of old Bmw rod bearings.

They had bags of concrete mix so I think they were using that as a footer.
