Do you have heating inside yet? It's really tough to mud in the winter with regular mud and not have heat to promote the drying. Same for any paint work.

The heater is installed so maybe they will get that up and running first, but we have temps in the low 60's this week so it should be okay.

Still nothing happening at the house but legacy international sent some floor chip samples for the garage. I'm going for the Bmw m colors.

It's pretty close but I have a sample coming from another company, so I'll wait and see what that looks like.

I think so. Here's a pic with something actually licensed by Bmw so the colors are accurate.

Mpower, when the garage floor was poured was a vapor barrier installed. I'm guessing it was, but it is wise to make sure. I have also seen epoxy applications where logos were incorporated into the floor. I think the floor would look awesome with the M stripes and the rest of the floor white!

I haven't decided between white and light grey. Armorpoxy recommended that I steer away from white but I'm going to talk to legacy if I go with them.

Motorsport stripes will be very cool!
I'm trying to figure out if I'll go with laminates in Alpina or Gulf Racing colors for my cabinets.

I'm doing stripes on the walls. But for your shop my vote would be Gulf, I'm wearing a Gulf hat and watch strap right now.

Was the Cherokee frame that clean or did you repaint it? Where's that work being completed because it looks like getting that thing through the doors to your "old" shop would be a pretty tight squeeze

Alright, we some progress. It looks like brick will start this afternoon. They dropped off a cement mixer and a bunch of sand.

I got a stainless work table. Some assymbly required.

I got the contractor to put a lock on the door to keep people from snooping.

And I have doors. They are working on trim as we speak.

Sadly these will be the last updates until maybe Sunday but than likely late next week. I'm getting married this weekend and then heading out of town for a few days.

We are on our minimoon in Savannah, we are going to take a longer trip when the house is done and we are settled in but I need to brag about my wife. She surprised me with this amazing groom's cake at the rehearsal.

And then the morning of the wedding she surprised me again with cufflinks made out of old Bmw rod bearings.

OK... that literally takes the cake! I don't know your wife at all, but for your sake, don't ever screw that up!

Congrats on the wedding, the new space, and hopefully countless years of happiness!

Was going to make a joke about the "ball and chain" and then I saw the cake and cufflinks - somehow one of the good ones tolerates you (let's be honest here, we don't pick the women - they just decide who they're willing to tolerate). Congrats on getting married!

Congratulations on your marriage. Curious what is underneath the bottom row of bricks? Is there some sort of concrete footing we can’t see in the picture? Is just a bed of mortar on the dirt? I may be doing a similar addition in the future.

Oh no, it's only been a few days and the inlaws are already invading! :lol_hitti
Congratulations on the wedding - now focus on the honeymoon. We'll all be here when you get back.

They had bags of concrete mix so I think they were using that as a footer.
