Maybe I missed it but did you ever find out what the no start problem was on your sons vehicle?

It was a burnt or broken wire in the wiring harness. I never found which one we just replaced the engine wiring harness and that fixed it

Nice shop and nice bronco! Was looking at your thread because it the size I am thinking of building..... So I can finally "finish" my 67 bronco and redo my wife's 66. Your bronco was a nice surprise at the end.

thanks. I will have to follow your build when you start it. I have a tendency to become totally immersed in whatever I am currently building so right now I am bronco crazy. to be fair, I have loved early broncos since I watched Stacey David build project crazy horse years ago on trucks but I could never afford one. I am building this one stupid of course. basically just threw out the original and building it up from scratch, but I will hopefully have a pretty cool bronco when it is done. I guess if there are some interested people I will update this site with some current pictures.

something seems to be wrong with the site right now, none of my pictures are showing up, either from photobucket or imgur, so I will just upload some pictures direct to the site.

one of the things I have done recently is I wanted to install a gas tank door, something a bit different than just a gas cap like the early models, and similar to the 76, 77 models. I found a place called Hagan auto that sells a pretty trick setup, and I installed it recently. cut the hole, welded it in, and did a little finishing. I will leave the rest up to the body shop, but it turned out pretty good I think.

I also had some issues getting my powersteering reservoir to clear my hood, initially I tried relocating the reservoir, then I had a custom reservoir made, but then the bracket was hitting so I ended up going with a new fiberglass hood from bronco design. I think it looks great. the underhood appearance is much more finished than the steel hood with bolt on scoop was, and it clears everything. gratuitous chassis shot to show what is under the hood.

I have not been on this site much lately, but the bronco is basically complete. I haven't had much chance to really drive it because winter hit right when i finally got it running last year. I am anxiously awaiting spring to be able to put some miles on the thing and really do some tuning. here are a few recent pictures.

I guess I never updated this thread on the latest changes to the bronco. I had a slight bronco lean problem I was having trouble sorting out so I finally did a swap to duff T. rex arms. I also added some silver graphics to the side, a wild horses tool tray under the hood annd a few other minor changes, and I have been having a lot of fun with it.
