Finally got my own garage about a year ago, after house shopping with the requirement, 2 CAR GARAGE (which is surprisingly difficult in this part of Florida, on an Airmen's salary).

But, at last, I have my garage, and I have time to spend in it! My garage is a little unique in the fact that it's a 2 car garage that does not fit 2 cars. My garage kept car (that has not been garage kept for 6+ years) is my Camaro, I tried to pull my wife's DD in with it (2015 Cruze), and it barely fits, but you can't get out.

The interior A/C unit, water heater, and a portion of the laundry room steal space from the garage, so its not really the 19x19 that it advertises. But it works.

Anyway, here's the 'before' picture:

As you can see, I've done a few things, like hung my Garage PC (which is fantastic, highly recommend) started putting stuff in cabinets, but I'm not too far.

Hope you guys enjoy The Budget Brawler Garage with me as I go to overhaul this bad boy (which is aptly named for the car and the garage).

Car looks really nice.

Just curious, why is having a garage computer so fantastic? I could understand it if you are a mechanic and you interface a computer with the vehicle as a means of troubleshooting. But just for general garage use, why is it important?

I've thought about epoxy, but I'm not really sure what would look good. I'd really like to do a tile floor, but I don't think it'll be worth it in this house. I'm painting this weekend so I'll be able to get a better idea, afterwards.

Thanks!

Thank you.

Music and using it for looking up any kind of issues you may run into if you aren't a mechanic, and swapping in an LS into an older Camaro, you run in to a lot of that. Also, watching TV while you're working, haha.

What is the water pump in the corner for?

Sprinkler system. It's really loud, too.

Welcome, nice car and nice garage!

Have you considered those rolling dollies you can put under the tires so you can push the car over to the side of the garage? That just might give you enough room for the second vehicle.

More pics of the camaro!

I haven't taken any pictures of it lately, aside from Garage pics, these are pretty old. In fact, I'm sure it still had a carburetor at this point. A few things have changed and the stance is better adjusted. I'll be sure to get some new ones soon. But, here you go:

Wow, over a year since my last update, sorry everyone. My wife wanted me to get floors done in the house and I've done everything in my power to put it off, but the garage ended up full of tiles. So I relocated them and began working once again.

So, what has changed? I added cabinets, I built a workbench since the rolling toolbox couldn't take much hammering. I added a shelf above said toolbox for storage, and I bought a welder.

Currently, I am waiting on my welding mask (gonna christen it by welding up that PC next to the toolbox which is going to be my new server/garage PC) and a 30 gal compressor. My old compressor has a leak and I cannot fix it without replacing the regulator, which costs about the same as a new unit. Why not upgrade?

The car is waiting on a set of Forgeline GZ3's and preparing to be driven more than it ever has in its life!

I fixed the pictures. Now they're huge. I'm trying to figure out the scale situation. But, until then, enjoy the detail?
