Nice to revisit this one. Which inspired a few more questions...

How did you make the transition into your house? is there a basement there also that you go into?

Any moisture problems at all?

No concerns or worries about weight on the driveway or garage floor coming thru the basement ceiling?

Passageway that goes from the garage basement - underground to connect with the house basement.

No worries about anything coming from the top down. It's so overdone it's just silly. The sub that did the steel/concrete work, builds commercial parking structures for a living. We went way above and beyond what was required.

I'd be more worried about the second story of my house caving in than this...

utah997,

well done and a great source of inspiration.

And I understand your concerns for privacy/security.

It has been a long time since I caught up with this post.... STILL LOVE IT!
Utah, your wife's command center, I did the same thing to one of bedrooms on our new home.... it made it easier to buy my LISTA cabinets for my garage. :)

Great build!

I just found this garage and I love it. Awesome setup. I just moved from UT a month ago. I graduated from BYU and then worked for a couple of years in Salt Lake. It's good to be home in TN but I will miss a lot of things in Utah!

Sooooooo Utah. Any updates? Probably too busy playing in his giant toybox! :p

Haven't had time to do a whole lot to the garage.. did get rid of the Ferrari and 911 though. I have a new ride inbound.. should be here this week.

Nice acquisition. I wouldn't lose sleep over the Ferrari and 911 exchange for that from a drivers perspective. No idea about $.

I think a video tour of your garage would be awesome because of the uniqueness of the build it hard to describe. I love it. Also why don't you have any lift for you awesome garage.

Just realized 2 things it can use to be totally perfect. (as if it could be improved upon already lol)

Indoor pool

Indoor shooting range

But, its art any way you look at it, I'm still awed by the clever execution.

Utah, do you get enough time to enjoy what you created?
