Very nice. I second the question about the second floor, what is up there?

Bunker seems like an appropriate name. No Windows in the first floor garage?

Cheers!

The second floor is wide open & really a free space. The house has a 12/12 pitch profile running west to east & I wanted to match the same with this garage. Code limits for height & 12/12 pitch dictated the garage width to be 28.

I feel most garage builds under estimate how much space is available on a second floor for very little additional cost.

I installed the skylights just to break up the roof area. I believe the roof is about 22 by 60, so they just make what we see from the house look better.

Correct, no windows on the first floor, better insulation & more wall space are the main reasons.

Thanks,
Mike K.
