I picked up this adjustable years ago because it was made locally, and I'd never seen one before. I rescued (bought) it from an artsy boutique type craft store my ex dragged me to, I'm assuming they are the ones that took a brass wire brush to it.
Anyone else have anything made by The Canton Malleable Iron Co.?
Interestingly it is marked 'MFD' like some Proto tools. Also some Wilton c-clamps say MFD as well, so perhaps it isn't that unique.
