I had been doing kind of a deep dive on air pressure regulators, and kept noticing the same regulators under different brand names. Also, changing brand name can get you an identical product with better availability or lower price, so I thought I would start a list of which regulators appear under which brands.
Dixon:
Dixon sells many different many regulators. They helpfully list the manufacturer and series on their website so I won't go into much detail here.
Parker R119 series:
The actual OEM for this group of regulators is unclear to me. It might be Parker, Watts, or somebody else. You might find them under brand names such as:
- Parker
- Schrader
- Schrader Bellows
- Watts
- Wilkerson
In general the part numbers will often be the same across these brands, except sometimes Wilkerson.
A special note about the Parker R33 "global" series, AKA Wilkerson R28. I had one and it was (poorly) built to a (low) price point. In particular, the adjusting screw threads were quite coarse making adjustment difficult. The adjusting nut was aluminum and galled to the screw within about a month.
Eaton:
I'm guessing Eaton makes these? I have had nothing but good luck with them. You might see them under one of the following brands:
- Eaton
- Arrow Pneumatics
- Milton (Part numbers are different but as far as I can tell they are the same regulators)
Norgren:
IMI Norgren also has a line of air pressure regulators. I've found rebrands of their filters, but never a regulator.
