Looking great! Our dimensions are pretty similar.
Can't wait for the new pics!

Looks really nice. I would have torn out the railings (unless needed).
My .02 - eat the return shipping and the delay and go with your origional design.
By the way EMC2, you sure have a classy garage! Not to mention the Porsche lettering which has been much copied over here! And ofcourse, it helps to have a big Porsche parked in that classy garage; my neighbor drives a white Panamera and it sure has a strong road presence, great car!
I got it backwards. I must be dyslexic.I like the first design better and if you cover a lot of it with benches, etc., you'll never wonder why you needed the 2 rows of gray.
and fix those lightbulbs in the gate-openers, will ya ?!![]()
x2 for fixing the lights.
Did the cabinets arrive? Looking forward to some more pics!
looks good, I like the race deck I have the same wall color scheme in my place. Ill have to look into the cost of race deck.
Forgot you got RD, thought you were gonna cut tile with the jigsaw ha. RD and cabinets looks GREAT, even with the stripe![]()
Racedeck looks awesome and so does the cabinets.... who makes them?
These would look nice on your steps.

Have you thought about cutting down RD tiles and fixing them to the tops of the steps? It might be a bit of a pain but would tie everything together nicely. We're having our steps epoxied with the rest of the floor, but will only flake the top surfaces, allowing the base color to differentiate the sides.
You could always mount them above the bench and then mount a tire rack above the garbage cans. I assume you at least have one extra set of wheels needing a storage solution.
Chop saw or fixed band saw would have guaranteed perfect cuts but a steady hand and the jig/sabre saw will do just fine. If you want to be extra safe, mark all of your cuts clearly and use a fence to keep the blade from wandering.
OrneryDuck beat me to it, so here's an example of what he is saying and how to get the best results with what you have...
I'm thinking black on the tread of the stairs would make the stairs tie in much more. I know you just put those carpet pieces but i think there is more potential there. Just another free suggestion from the peanut gallery.
