Hope you find what you're after. Your local printer may be able to use your own images. May be worth making a few calls. Decals are simple if you have the equipment.

I have to change the carpet on the stairs, its more a stop gap, its not even stuck to the stairs! Will revisit that after everything else is done..

Browsing for Audi wall decals right now - thanks Rick! :D

Excellent.....BTW, since your above post i realized you have mentioned what will be inhabiting this new space.....Unless i missed it, which is entirely possible haha.

The inhabitants will be a Audi and a VW minivan, yup, a minivan... :D I was thinking I would be the only one in this forum with a minivan, but noticed that G20-Budo has a minivan in his garage too.. so I am not the only uncool guy here! :p

Looks great but I suggest you place some storage (cabinets or shelves) over your bench for frequently used items or you will spend too much time walking back and forth to get items from the cabinets.

Looks great.

Finally got the cabinets all done:

I tried placing the wall cabinets above the bench and thought it crowded out that space, so went with the original plan of cabinets on the other side of the stairs. I dont have extra set of wheels, so this is the best way to balance both sides...

Thank you OrneryDuck & Jmatlock88 for the tips. A friend of mine has a circle saw and is going to help me with the tiles this weekend.. returning the jigsaw. Its been a week plus since I put down the tiles, really need to finish it up!

Hey, minivan's are GREAT for hauling people around. When family comes to visit, it sure is nice to be able to pick them all up in one trip from the airport. :)

Anything I could use ? I'm looking for Audi fonts, symbols etc.... any link available ?

Hey.. Rick pointed me to ebay sellers - I am sure you have seen Rick's Audi garage. I am looking in ebay, amazon has few sellers as well. Rick's original ebay seller is not active in ebay, but there are others who sell similar.

Regarding fonts - the issue is that the new Audi fonts are a little too normal, so everyone is using the older style Audi fonts

Old style:

Current style:

I like the new style rings, but not the lettering (looks like someone typed it in MS Word!)

I havent done much on the decals et al, work got me a little busy this week, will get back to it soon..

So I am pretty much done, other than getting some decals for the walls. Here is a before and after:

Before:

After:

Added the the accu park from Race Deck - did it only for one side

Now I look at it, I have three different shades of red.. I think I should redo the wall red stripe:

Next week will be some Audi rings on the wall! :)

Man, that new Audi font is such a let-down! I much prefer to the "old" one. Now that you have made the comment about the colour of your stripe, you're going to have to change it. You just won't be able to look at it without thinking how much better it would be if it matched the cabinets. At least, that's how my mind works.

The before and after is amazing. You must be quite pleased. The park assist tile is a great idea, too.

Have you considered painting the door the same colour as the back wall? Could look cool.

Great job on the garage! It looks really nice. I too like the accu park, if I did RD, I'd get one for my wife's side. :)

I'm with Rick on the door idea. I do think it would look good.

Garage looks great! What a change! I agree, the stripe will look better matching the cabinets... Which look awesome, nice choice! Now, when can we get pictures of the garage with its vehicles?

I thought you had intentionally matched the stripe to the cabinet color, or was it the RD tile? Might be someone else I was thinking of. Repainting the stripe would be kind of a pain to do/re tape. Hard to tell in the pics just how off it is, doesn't look bad IMO, plus the stripe in the RD wouldn't match. I say just leave it.

The cabinets look great. I've sold more of the Pro-Series cabinets over the Bold-Series. Costco works on container pricing, they purchase a full shipping container of the same set at a time. If your looking for NewAge of Coleman cabinets in another configuration or build up your own set, give me a shot. ShopStorageCabinets.com

So its been a while since I did anything to the garage.. I was looking to dress up the walls with decals and such, and finally ended up doing this myself. I downloaded some Audi sketches, added the logo and the red/black/gray stripes to make a new picture and did a canvas print and voila, heres my own artwork:

The three pics are not all similar, so I added the stripes to kinda bring it together so it looks like a set. I didnt have a good software, just used MS Paint and it took me some time to create the pictures right..

I couldnt go bigger print as the resolution wasnt good enough.. So, to make it look bigger, made three red "Audi boxes" and hung the prints on them to make it look bigger. I think it works..

And this is how it finally looks:

Added this decal:

Very happy with the results!

That looks really nice. It has a real showroom look to it. Well executed project. What are the overall dimensions of the canvases?

Nice job! I like the way you laid it out. Clearly you put some thought into it. And the quattro is a nice touch.

Thank you everyone, given that this is the only thing that I just didnt buy or have someone do it, I am very satisfied!

The canvas print is 11 x 14 inches, the boxes (or as my son corrected me, rhombus), is 18 inches. The offset is 6 inches.

I also got a Volkswagen sticker on the other side of the garage, will post pic later..

Now that seems even more interesting hehehe.

Its just a simple VW sticker, dont get your hopes too high! I had to put something on the other side since one side had the quattro lettering - and my son is a VW fan and insisted on it! Actually, its cas of him we ended up buying into the VW/Audi family!

Can you use a floor jack or jack stands with this flooring?

Looks Great!

I have never tried that, but I know some members here have done that using a support between the floor and the jack. I will admit that the freestyle tiles are more show than practical, but dont quote me on that!

You son sounds like a very intelligent individual

Don't bother. No one's interested.

I have more faith in the steel pin than the aluminum tube it's going through.

That steel pin is thicker than the pin holding the pivot lock in place on standard jack stands.

It's the smak base that makes me nervous.

Guilty as accused, been a slacker!! Here is a not so great picture of the other side of the garage with the VW sticker:

I wanted to get a pic of the garage with both sides in one pic and never got around to doing it..

He was 8 when he told me that when he grows up he will work for VW Audi!! The VW Audi US headquarters is 10 mins from our place so I guess he is staying close! :)

Is your race deck graphite or black in the middle? Whichever, it looks great!! I'm just looking at a few color combos for my floor and was curious what color yours was for reference.

Whereabouts in Ashburn are you? I'm off of LCP/Russell Branch. Like your colors. I think mine are turning into a version of yours cept with a blue striple instead of red. Go figure.

Go blue, its the new in color! Check Swisstrax, theres more color options, but lil bit more expensive. I am off LCP/Ryan, so you are right around the corner!
