Nice to know..... Almost bought the m12 but I am glad I held out for the DeWalt.

2 speed, nice deep hex chuck, it's fairly well balanced, big trigger, comfortable grip, decent room at the top for holding onto, and huge torque and speed for a cordless right angle...

The forward/reverse button and the venting could have been placed a bit better imo, but overall totally worth the purchase!!

I'm was really on the fence regarding the tough cases versus the tstak. I definitely think the tough cases are heavier duty, but the tstak has more options. I really like the setups I've seen, both flavors. Good stuff guys!

I've been in the process of swapping over to the 20v stuff for a while, so i have quite a few duplicates.. I think I am going to start selling my 18v stuff at some point..

I've been starting to take some photos for insurance purposes, so here are some recent shots:
Here is one of my benches; when I set the wall up like this, I wasn't really planning for expansion, and I've decided I don't like having everything hanging out there in plain view. At some point i need to tear everything off the walls, paint and install some cabinets..

Some of the stuff hard to see on the top shelf are a 6" grinder, 18 and 20v circular saws, as well as a corded saw, and a sander.
In the cases under the bench are a track saw, 2 1/4 HP router set and corded bandsaw.

Misc bits (most of these I just bought the empty cases, I've got a mix of several brands of bits)
20150329_180744%20-%20Copy_zpsmcz0kwzl.jpg

Some older 18v stuff - actually, I think the top left one is the first Dewalt I ever bought many years ago.. The tags are from my local shop that I had refurb these (brushes, etc)

Some new Tough cases I have recently picked up, but haven't had the time to really use yet...
20150329_180557%20-%20Copy_zpskqbzsikx.jpg

More misc 18v (I can't believe some of these batteries still work as well as they do being that old..), including the worst flashlight ever (the halogen one)! It came with one of my old kits and I haven't used it in years..
20150329_180822%20-%20Copy_zpsedwqqtbu.jpg

My 12v stuff (and 8v screwdriver)
20150329_180731%20-%20Copy_zpsz2np3b9m.jpg

My SDS drawer... Since I got the 20v one though, I hardly use the corded ones unless I have a hole over 7/8" to drill

Oh and I forgot I do have a Dewalt trim compressor as well..

Nice to know..... Almost bought the m12 but I am glad I held out for the DeWalt.

It is a great drill, I use it all the time.. With the Bosch Daredevil spade bits, it eats through old lumber easily.

...and I didn't know Dewalt made ladders either!

seen videos of that, do they make a tip for that that allows you to put it to a smaller opening for more velocity? i hope more 40v/high volt cordless yard tools come out, stringing cords all over a large yard got old the first time they invented corded yard tools.

Brushless impact driver with internal chuck
That impact driver has become my favorite.. Battery lasts forever and tons of control with the 3 speed.

I don't really use my other ones since I bought this one unless I need more than one at a time..

Yea I think what I love most is how it feels in my hand, and the fact it's the shortest on the market. Great impact driver.
