I have quite a few Dewalt tools, ranging from planer, scroll saw, all the way to screwdrivers.

They and I are kept safe under the benevolent gaze of the “Original”.

I'm all Red and have like 70+ Red Platform Batteries....

However, I needed some Yellow Batteries for a single tool I have in Dewalt.
Just got delivered.....for 4 pack, 2AH and 4AH 20V for $100 for BF. Is that considered a --hot deal--

$100 for 2-2ah and 2-4ah? So 12ah at about $8 each, yes I'd feel good about that

It's great... just gotta keep it moving between tires or it'll shut off and you'll have to set your psi again, minorly annoying.

I have a few, one in work truck, snowmobile trailer, one in pick up as I always have batteries around, it's a no brainer if you have the batteries.

I have one. Mainly use it as a high volume inflator (pool toys), but it works well. Haven't used it much for tires

The Dewalt inflator is quite large. I would recommend one of these small size Lithium battery pumps like this one. They work great and save a lot of space if you carry it in the vehicle.

90% of my cordless tools are DeWalt, but their inflator is just monstrous. I also have a few Ryobi cordless tools, so I bought the Ryobi inflator, <$50 on sale, and it's not much bigger than the battery itself. Works great, will top off 4 truck and 4 car tires ~3 PSI each on one or two bars- just used it the other day for that and it used one bar. I have a huge air compressor, but dragging the hose outside is a PITA.

To keep in a vehicle, based on the Project Farm tests I have a couple of these that fit under the seat. This will top off four truck tires 4-5 PSI each, but it will use up most of the battery doing it. I also have a 12V compressor that connects to the truck battery, but this is so much more convenient for a minor top off.

Skip all my BS below and buy this set if you can still get it for $88 bucks…otherwise and if your skeptical, read the below.

Damn, this is a pretty good set and very inclusive. The case is decent with four latches. The ratchets are pretty standard SBD fare. Sockets are decent with good broaching. I wish they had a little better visibility but still overall decent.

The gem of this kit is the lack of filler. Just lbs and lbs of sockets, extensions, bit sockets and universals. This is a get it done set. It’s heavy and bulky, but it’s very complete and will do most things if your working remote on 90% of stuff out there.

The set is made in Taiwan and it shows based on the material quality and fitment. Good ball detents on the extensions and universals. Leave the foam mat in the case if this is going in rig to quiet the noise. The case holds the sockets pretty well but it’s not perfect. Im going to order another one of these.

Picked up this little slip on USB Charger last summer on a whim, DCB 094. I thought it might come in handy working somewhere outside.

Well, the power is out and all I can do is surf the 'net.... barely. That being said, I am glad I spent the cash when I did.

I can see one of the major benefits of such charger: by the time the battery is charged, the project is completed by somebody else.
Its main purpose is for charging other devices from the dewalt battery, for which it works great.

You can input 100w , which is in line with the smaller 120v chargers

I have one of those also. As mike said, you can put power into, or take power out of, the battery with this via a USB cord. I bought it in case of a power outage so that I could charge my phone.

I specifically bought it for the purpose of being able to charge my phone while out working somewhere. The ability to also charge a battery makes it that much more convenient.

I bought a second set, so along with a 2.0 amp/hour battery and pouch it will live in the truck.

This will give me a means to charge my phone while out somewhere or while on a road trip (generally bring impact and 20V lights) a means to charge batteries.

Like I mentioned prior, this little guy really shined when the power went out the other day.

For you Dewalt Fans, I know the TOUGHSYSTEM 2.0 is very popular and these don't come up for sale often:

It's awesome. I've had one for geez, probably 8 years now. Use it on big tractor tires, car tires, little tires, you name it. Probably one of my higher hour tools.

Pro tip - if you need the above, and don't want to shell out another $100, the power adapter for the coats has a USB A output.

I've always raided the heated jacket adapters for power outages. I think the whole coat was around $100 pre-covid prices (I have 2 lol).

Anyone have any suggestions on this situation? I have a ton of DeWalt 20v and 60v batteries and tools. I mistakenly bought 3 pairs of 12V batteries with 3Ah and 5Ah and a charger, and didn't notice that they are 12V. Returns area a pain, because of the lithium batteries. Anyone have any recommendations on a 12V tool that is worth investing in to go with these 6 batteries? The only 12V tool I have is an SDS driver that I also bought by mistake, thinking it was 20V. So at least I have some justification on one of these 3 sets as spare for the SDS drill. Anyone have a 12V impact driver that they love or something? I've been looking and nothing jumps out at me. Not looking to start a 12v division of tools to my collection, just looking for one or two 12V tools that can make use of these batteries. When I look online, the 20V tools seem to be less money, so I don't want to spend more money to use the 12V batteries that were already a gaff.
