Ooh. Let me know how you like it. I often have to haul a pressure washer up onto mobile home roofs when recoating. That looks perfect. On impulse i picked up this jobsite pressure washer, even though i was thinking cordless, the continuous power for cleaning may not be bad. I like the compact size, hopefully get to try it out soon. Too bad it doesn’t fit the tough system, that would have been a big plus.

I have to say every time i get to use my flexvolt chain saw i like it even more. Has a dead tree come down last night, pull out saw, insert fresh battery , top off bar oil and cut up. It’s just so easy to use clean up mess with flexvolt blower, clean up tools and put away. I’m sure most brands are good but the extra run time with flexvolt is nice.
Yep! Got mine a little over a month ago. LUV it!

Well, I don't have a specific number. But, if you add a tool before before you use the last one you bought, it might be an addiction. If you have a couple drills and buy a third it might not be an addiction. If you buy a 4th drill before you use the 3rd, it might be. This isn't meant to be exhaustive or there might not be other ways to look at it but that is a place to start. How many DeWalt items does it take to be considered addicted
Traded my DCG418 grinder in for this...
My tool guy gave me a good deal.
I had no issues with the 418 performance wise.
It's a beast alright. More *** than any other mfg. I'd bet dollars on it.
That said I had to do some extensive grinding work and the 418 will only accept the 60v battery.
I've got 3 60v batteries but I was going faster than my batteries were lasting. I couldn't use my 20v batteries so I had down timd which irritates me.
So he traded me this advantage grinder which I can use both batteries 20v and 60v.
That's my DeWalt story of the day...
The biggest flex volt battery is 5ah at 60v and that is an absolute monster that is also very, very expensive. The ah rating you see on a flex volt battery is the rating at 20v, so divide by three for 60v.Good story. I am 67 years and retired. Still using a couple old brushed 18v with adapters for my occasional use. Grinders surely do use batteries. OK, so 3, 60v (6 amp ?) couldn't keep up. How much more did you need? 1 more 5? 2 more 5s?
No need to get pissy. I was just offering some clarificationWell, I was identifying them the way Dewalt does. Let me clarify for the Dewalt internet correction police. Was that 3 flexvolt 60v 20v max 6ah batteries?
Pissy? What a ******* clownNo need to get pissy. I was just offering some clarification
OK. Guess this one has run its course. I'm outPissy? What a ******* clown
I've got (2) 9AH and (1) 6AH in the flexvolt 60Good story. I am 67 years and retired. Still using a couple old brushed 18v with adapters for my occasional use. Grinders surely do use batteries. OK, so 3, 60v (6 amp ?) couldn't keep up. How much more did you need? 1 more 5? 2 more 5s?
Agree, never have too many. In the 2 I own, I have a wire wheel and a grinder disk. Without even approaching addiction territory, there is clearly room for a 3rd one with a cutting disk.I've got (2) 9AH and (1) 6AH in the flexvolt 60
The 418 model was an absolute beast but I was out working my batteries. I even have several fast chargers.
I got the 416 because it's the advantage meaning it will get a boost in power if I need it with the 60v but it can also use all the 20v for which I have 5. That was actually more important to me was using all the batteries I have if needed.
The 418 can ONLY use 60's.
Notice my list above...perhaps I'll just say "F it" and buy back the 418 and have both of them....because ya know....I'm definitely addicted. Perhaps a sickness.![]()
Nice upgrade!

Heck, I forgot to mention or picture mine in my pileup above your post. I did post about it elsewhere though ...Has anyone picked up the 20v Atomic Ratchet yet. HD's had them in stock.
Uh oh, today a bumblebee snuck in my Milwaukee cordless drawer ...
Dewalt DCF503. Took her for little spin today and first thoughts are that as previously reported it's more powerful breaking stuff free and tightening than any of my Milwaukees, which I believe is going to save me time overall, especially on not-so-pristine threads, but it's not anywhere near as fast as the Milwaukee high speed when the threads are decent. When you just pull the trigger on both at the same time empty of a fastener the speed difference between them is plainly evident as is the fact that the trigger on the Dewalt is a lot more comfortable to use.
Also, the Milwaukee high speed and even the old-school small-head Milwaukees seem to have more of a wrist-jerk than the Dewalt does when it hits it's max torque tightening, and it is MUCH easier to change the selector on the Dewalt than any of the Milwaukees which can be a real PITA and sockets are a lot easier to put on and get off. All of the Milwaukees are prone to fight me to the point of having to break out the pocket screwdriver, especially on smaller sockets like a 10mm, but pulling a 10mm on and off of the Dewalt was no prob at all.
It's too soon for me to say which will be my go-to more often than the others. There's things I like better about each in different situations. Only time will tell if I develop a favorite. Just as I have been doing, I like to set up my cart before starting a job with a socket already on each ratchet rather than have to keep swapping them back and forth if I can avoid it. A lot of jobs especially if I've done them before I know exactly what sockets and extensions and such I'll need and having multiple ratchets (cordless & manual) already ready to go saves me a lot of time I otherwise would spend fishing around for the socket I just used.
Why? Turn that ship around my friend! There's another recent thread on it. That said, there were a lot of opinions and not a lot of people who had it in hand.
Unfortunately, that ship has sailed for me...

Will let you know...Agree, never have too many. In the 2 I own, I have a wire wheel and a grinder disk. Without even approaching addiction territory, there is clearly room for a 3rd one with a cutting disk.
Anyway, with the new one can you outwork the 2 flexvolt, 9s and the 6 and need to dip into the 20v stuff? Or, does the new one use the power more efficiently and the 3 flexvolt batteries keep up? Or, since you don't have to worry about it because you have to 20v batteries, no need to check?
Haha. I know, but I'm pretty invested in the m12 system. I actually really like the Dewalt 12 volt line, and if several things had been released (including the ratchet) at the time I jumped in, I would probably be all yellow*.Why? Turn that ship around my friend!![]()

-Lil propane heater (Local HD was giving these away last month for $49. Me and another guy almost fought over this last one. I came home with it.)
EDIT: And as was pointed out to me below, I forgot to add my most recent Dewalt addition, a 3/8 cordless ratchet.
I'm sure there's other team yellow tools I'm forgetting, besides many many dewalt small handtools like utility knives and tape measures and bits and blades etc.
Oh yeah. Most of the corded and the few 18V seen there that I kept around I was working them every day in the 90s and in the years after I traded the every day game for an indoor career I built a home with them and have kept busy ever since, picking up the new tool here and there as I needed or when watched ones went on sale. It's crazy how much one can accumulate over time. I've got lots of tools in other colors and I like them all but yellow hasn't let me down yet. Whether I'm in the shop tinkering or repairing or improving the house or under a hood or laying in the driveway turning a wrench I like having tools that are ready to work however hard I need them to.Well, nice eclectic mix there. Not a johnny-come-lately are you? Between corded, 18v, 20, 60v etc there are many years putting that set up together?
Nope haven't seen it. Not available in any orange or blue store near me yet, but if & when they do I can't say i'm looking for another in any case (especially not 20V). I've got 5 cordless ratchets already, four red and one yellow, and have preordered the extended yellow (also not 'atomic') also that isn't coming out until July is what they are saying now.
If it's anything like the DCF503 I have that's rated 60ftlbs (TTC test result: 67ftlbs) it's way less of a knucklebuster than any of my Miuwaukees. It hits max torque much softer than the oldschool small heads or high speed M12 (TTC test result: @ 29ftlbs) that I have.Wow. 70 ft. lbs. That puts it up there with the popular impacting air ratchet sold by aircat/husky/harbor freight. That's going to be a knucklebuster depending on how the mechanism works.
You won't have to reach for the stihl.Again I was surprised & impressed with the flexvolt chain saw, had to take down a pine tree that fell against an oak, it was borderline cheap vs stupid operation. The tree was probably 20" at the bottom & I was cutting at 2" increments, as long as you keep it sharp & don't bind the blade it really cuts great. never had to reach for the Stihl, did the whole job on two 6amp batteries.
