Those are on the 20v platform.
Not too bad if using the 2 amp battery but the footprint is still much bigger than the 12 battery.

The ratchet sounds like the perfect candidate for the Powerstack batteries. Those are on the 20v platform.

Since the Dewalt 12V are cheap as chips comparatively and charge in the same chargers (except the 20V fast chargers) you're not really starting another platform adding 12V to a 20V setup any more than you are adding 20V powerstacks at more than twice the 12V battery price.Ordered the ratchet at HD today and some powerstacks off Ebay. I don't have any Dewalt 12v tools and didn't want to start another platform.
I would still have to get a least 2 12v batteries, at least the power stacks I can use on all of other tools. It has nothing to do with more power. Its not like I'm going to hang a flex volt or 8ah off the thing, but I could.Since the Dewalt 12V are cheap as chips comparatively and charge in the same chargers (except the 20V fast chargers) you're not really starting another platform adding 12V to a 20V setup any more than you are adding 20V powerstacks at more than twice the 12V battery price.
It's cool to go with "Moar Power" though. Let us know what you think of it when you get it.

What electric ratchet do you have?Used the 3/8 20v ratchet tonight doing the brakes on my daughters car. I need to learn throttle control. Never had a cordless ratchet before. I don't have the power stacks yet, but seem to run stout with 3ah battery. As far as the under hood light goes that's on order to. No 12volts yet. It is about 3/4 to in inch longer than the 12v.
DCF513What electric ratchet do you have?
Does it have the torque to break loose the caliper slider bolts?
The length of these cordless ratchets offer the leverage to break most rusty tight nuts loose before applying powerWhat electric ratchet do you have?

I looked ...If interested the Dewalt drum fan is $149-50 for limited time. Item# 2240010
Model DXF-2490
$99 is IN store price I paid and it's $169 online. Been on sale early May and got posted on SD on 5/22/22. Don't know when the $99 deal is over but my local store was sold out but the manager looked up a nearby Costco that had 18 left.I looked ...
How did you score that for $99
Is the DCF891B the same size as the DCF894B?Used the DCF513 more yesterday. This time with a power stack battery. The more I use the more I'm liking it. Also picked up the DCF891 yesterday, didn't get to use it yet. If it has the beans that the videos show my 899 may get shelved for a while.
They are very close, will try to get a side by side picture later. Is the DCF891B the same size as the DCF894B?
The thing with ratchets I've found is often times I'm in very tight spaces otherwise I just use the DCF901 and swivel impacts. The ratchet sounds like the perfect candidate for the Powerstack batteries.

Oh I hear you, that's why I always us CP batteries with my Milwaukee ratchetThe thing with ratchets I've found is often times I'm in very tight spaces otherwise I just use the DCF901 and swivel impacts.
The 12 volt foot print is small and with ratchets in tight spaces that little difference between the power stack 20v/20v ratchet versus the 12v battery and 12v ratchet can mean fit or no fit.
Moreover 12v are fairly inexpensive and I just got word from a DeWalt person that like with the underhood light don't be surprised to see more items hit accommodating all three batteries, 12 20 and 60...like the light.
The size difference of the 12v to 20v even in powerstack form is paramount to me using the 3/8 ratchet or the dcf901
That said if something works for you that's all that matters
Nice.My power stack wood working box, you get use to the less weight quick. Just need to have charged ones ready, they work great with the atomic tools.
Oh, that's nothing.
That's what I heard. (big and heavy)The 899 is great other than being big and heavy. Haven't used an air impact since I got it. Haven't found any thing it wouldn't take apart.
Might I suggest a different angle....That's what I heard. (big and heavy)
I was hoping to see some close outs on the 899, because DeWalt is supposed to release a new Hi torque.
I don't know if it's out yet.
I have the 894 right now. It's a good little gun too.
Thanks again.
