hVe the DeWalt DCD996 hammer drill which has the e clutch. When you hit your preset torque, there is no skip but the motor quits.I have never used the clutch as the only time I use that drill is for making large/deep holes in wood/metal/concrete so no need. All fasteners fall to the DCF887 or the DCF899 as warranted.any others that have sussed out the e clutch?
I have found that as the setting increases, so does the full trigger motor rpm with it.
