What are the differences in JIS,Posi Drive or Phillips?Which ones are similiar and can interchange?Which ones absolutely will cause problems?

Pozi drive is a cross between a phillips head and robertson drive, making it less likely to cam out compared to a plain phillips screw.
JIS is a standard for screw and driver sizes, similar to metric vs standard bolts. The same things really just a slightly different size.
Pozidrive is very common over here but rare in the states i think?
