Hello My Husband passed away few yrs ago and now i'am going through the garage.There is a drill press that looks very old but thinking its in working condition due to Jim putting new 110 end on the electric cord.
This is what it has on the name plate.

The Emerson electric Co New York St.Louis.
No- S71386 Volts 110
Type-63420 W.P
Amps-5
Speed- 1750
HP- 1/4 ??
Cyc-80

Made in The United State Of America
For Alternacting Current Patented.

I have looked every where and I can not find out any info on this Drill press can anyone HELP ME PLEASE???

Hi any way for you to take a few pictures and post them for us to get a better idea in order to help you out.

Be sure and take pictures of every name plate tag or any labels that have printed information that we can look at.

From what I understand, Emerson was the actual mfg of most of the Craftsman Radial arm saws and a lot of other Craftsman Power tools.

Emerson electric manufactured the electric motor not the drill press itself. The must be a plate or casting mark on the press frame that will identify it.
