@kaymccampbell Honestly no idea. I don't remember if I sliced it on my old computer or not which would mean everything changed lol

@jeepxj Yeah I think it is just a super complex item. I have no idea how to simplify it.
If you're on a different computer, then everything changes. All bets are off.

You might have to take it into CAD and recompute it. I've had to do that with other people's objects before. There's whole long videos on how to import and recompute an STL for any of the different CAD packages.

Quick and dirty (.3 layer height) Sonos One Riser. Since I'm using a short power cord I needed an extra inch and a half on our basement bar top to reach the lower outlet.

My first print that I designed myself. Took hours trying to get it to o from fusion to my computer. Turns out I needed to highlight it and it went right thru! Its a divider panel for my nut and bolt cart 20240119_210802.jpg20240120_130905.jpg
Perfect fit! Now to print 50 more of them!

I finally brought my 3D printers over from the old house to set up in my new office. They have been sitting in my old garage for the past couple of years literally collecting dust. I had a particular spot in my office to put a shelf and picked up this cheap wire rack so I could stack them along with my paper printer.

The Prusa was given to me by work because it was having some printing issues. I went through the machine and calibrated it, and it seems to be working great. The Ender has some bed leveling issues. I had a piece of glass made to fix that issue but it still needs some work that I just haven't been in the mood to figure out. The Prusa is a much better machine anyway.

My daughter wanted me to print something for her, and since they seem to be all the rage right now, figured I would print her a Stanley cup.

Seemed to print really well. Now to find something more useful to print with it. I really need to make organizers for my pistol mags, but can't figure out exactly how I want to do them yet.

You might want to consider printing some brackets to secure that shelf to the wall. It would cut down on vibration from having printer(s) running and possibly improve quality

Another day another print. This time embedding magnets to clean up the kitchen sink Scrub Daddy.
I chopped up the thingiverse design as I wanted more flexibility on where I could place it with a smaller form factor.

Two prints in a row I had the filament snap at the drive gear on my Ender 3 Pro. Could have been because where I was printing was too cold but I had no problems the past couple weeks in the same spot. Going to go ahead and get into a direct drive setup, specifically the 2023 version from Creality.

How are you storing your filament? Might be a humidity issue. PLA gets especially brittle when it absorbs any moisture. I print from a dry box but if I forget to unload filament for a couple weeks it will break right outside of the extruder in the exposed section.

@moto_ridah So for the past couple weeks I have left the printer printing outside in the shop. It is a sealed space but it is possible humidity from outside got in. I’m moving it back into my guest bedroom.

Normally I just leave the filament on the printer when not in use. I don't have more than one spool at the moment.

For the creality hot end mount, I like this left-hand drive Bondtech mount, because it lets you pop open the jaws straight forward and have easy access to anything that needs doing.

I've run that on my CR10 for about a year now, and I've been nothing but happy with it.
