Hey everyone, after years of collecting information on this forum, I finally decided to take the plunge and update my garage. I do a lot of automotive work here, and have 2 small kids so I had to strike the balance of clean design as well as usable storage for all the kid stuff.

Materials:

2 kits Rustoleum Professional Epoxy- Glacier Grey
2 Kits Rustoleum Professional Clear Coat
1 Jar shark grip
2 Gallons black concrete paint
5 gallons white flat exterior paint
2 Gallons flat grey duraclean exterior paint
1 Gallon red pittsburg Ultra exterior flat paint
1/2" OSB and studs for shelving

Total job cost was right at $500. I was really satisfied with the Rustoleum solvent based epoxy for the price.

Here are the photos of the finished job. It was a long, tedious process but well worth it. The garage feels much larger, brighter, and more upscale.

I used the recommended amount of shark grip, but wish I used a bit more or added the rust oleum anti skid also as the floor is a bit more slippery than I'd like.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks-

Love it. This is basically what I am planning in my garage if we decide to stay in our current house. I've even got two of the same banners on my walls already...
Thanks for listing out the products used.

I have read good and bad about the Rustoleum Epoxy, and also do a lot of automotive work in my garage. I'll be interested to see how this holds up to jack stands and dropped tools.

Super clean. I like the red stripe. Debating doing something similar myself. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the new space.
