I'm not sure yet... We are doing a bunch of things behind the curtains that has never been done before. It's all very necessary, but super scary...

Essentially, I held on to Vbulletin for far too long... the forum got old and HUGE and... holy **** this is scary...

But as unprofessional as this might all look (any downtime is pretty unprofessional), I am confident we can get it all to work. We just need the time offline to make sure.

Note: You might also note that the site is running a little slow today. We are backing up everything 100% before we attempt all this craziness.

Not a big fan of XenForo. It's pretty, but it wastes a lot of screen space on being pretty.

But I'm sure everyone will adapt.

Take WHATEVER time you need to get it all working correctly. In the big scheme of things, a forum being down for 2-3 days isn't really that big of a deal. All of us will still be here when you get it rolling........

When you go to a pal’s house after he’s remodeled the kitchen do you say; “Man, this new kitchen *****!”?

Curious… cuz it’s sort of the same thing.

Regardless, xenforo is far superior to VB in every way. Yes, some people will hate change… but I’d hope most would understand why and have some chill about it.

^^^ the issue as far as I know is that VBulliten is not supported any longer. All Vbulliten sites are transferring to new platforms, mostly XenForo
