It turned out looking nice though.
I did this one close to 30 years ago. I dissected a typeset drawer and tried my hand at painting.
I ended with the results I was looking for with the exception of the yellow pinstripe tape. I did not think I would be able to paint the line without it bleeding under the masking tape so this what I came up with.
I should still outline the Coca Cola in black though.

Thank you but the black outline on the Coca Cola really makes the sign.
My hand would never be steady enough to do it freehand which is also why I used pin striping tape for the yellow.
Made some progress on the cradle for the cooler. Started with a 8' section of douglas fir deck upright. Bottom of the tube legs will sit in the routed dado. Going to relieve the ends with a 2" forestner bit to make it less clunky. Cross braces will be 1 1/4" dowels.
I haven't updated in awhile. Been plugging along as time permits.
Finished a top out of 2x6 cut offs for the tool cart I bought a few months back. Just crappy fir but it was a fun project and let me play with my woodworking tools.
I bought this tool box last weekend and cleaned up really quick. Will be putting it on ebay after the holidays unless someone here needs it.
Cleaned everything up a bit with mineral spirits and Noxon polish. Ratchet was cleaned and reassembled with a little white lithium grease. I didn't go crazy, removed the neglect but didn't try to polish out the patina.
One piece out of the box that I am keeping is this 1930s Goodall Pratt manual tach. You can use it to measure the speed of equipment. Pretty cool.

Those socket chisels are definitely worth saving, you cant get those new today unless you want to fork out a lot of cash and its real easy to put a nice long handle on the larger sizes which is useful.
