This is my uncles garage... he built it almost 4 years ago to house his '55 chevy and my grandpa's '36 chevy. He also built it large enough...2,000sf so he can also use it as a workspace to work on cars. It has 2 bay doors a rotary lift and a canary yellow snap-on toolbox. Yesterday was spent putting up checkered flag border around the top of the walls. I believe he either wants to epoxy or get race-trac flooring. It features a vizio 32" tv with wifi and a desktop computer hooked up to it. He purchased a store refrigerator to keep the beer ice cold at 33 degrees. Just thought i would let you all see it and tell him any ideas or what else he should do with it.

Nice set up. I'd love to have a shop that has plenty of space to park cars and have a workshop and not overlap. Great looking place!

BTW, Welcome to GJ. Thanks for posting these shots to inspire us all.

This can be only one of two things.....either your uncle is doing it right and watching the wifey do the hard work, OR....she told him to sit the hell down and she'll do it right. :lol_hitti Either way, Welcome to the Board and really nice setup that your uncle has there

Pssssstt....Tell him to keep the wife working :spit:

Just a tip, but when you update with new pics, you may want to add them at the end of the thread instead of editing the original. We like pics, but don't like backtracking. :lol_hitti

Your last entry sound like you just forgot to add the pics or at least would to some

Two, well maybe three..... oh hell by the time I'm done maybe a bunch of questions.

Are those overhead cabinets lower than most or is the picture deceiving? To me they just look low. And in the second pic, what does your uncle have...a TV and two computers? And to the left of that, the propane heater...is that all that he heats that garage with? Seems kind of small. And if it's ventless, I'd highly suggest that he put in a vented heater. Makes all the difference in the world as far as moisture, dirt, and smell. Although some will say a ventless doesn't smell, a lot of people can smell them. They also are dirty because they make moisture and any dirt or dust is carried in that moisture. Pull one off of the wall, stand back, and look where it was mounted and there will be a dirty wall around it. I had one just like it and hated it.
