Not sure why I needed it but I picked up a set. I wish SO would bring back the Yellow hard handle tools.

Why do I always get this sick feeling that I am going to go broke every time this thread gets bumped!!!! I got the needle nose set this week, so I thought I would put an up to date picture of my small green collection.

My sh80 and shlf80 looked out of place with the soft grips on them, and I remembered that I had some hard handles for them, so I made the swap.:rocker:

I've seen these (not on the van yet) never really come across robertson square drives but still want a set

i wish they would take back the hard handle drivers full stop, i like the instinct ones, but for "dirty" jobs there a pain to keep clean and im not so keen on the 'hard handle' variant they do

Finally got round to taking pics my green tools, well most of them anyway

IMG_0332.jpg

screwdrivers, as you see there are some non green ones, replacing the t-bars with the new ones though (which are only available in green oddly enough) and trying to complete a set of the mac screwdrivers, (if anyone has some good condition ones they want to sell message me)

I want to replace the ratchet screwdriver with a hard handle one too

IMG_0334.jpg

another pic of the snap on drivers

IMG_0333.jpg

Wera torx screwdrivers, these are nice, sadly not the older made in Germany ones (one of the electronics screwdrivers is and the quality difference is clear to see the German made one is the 'blacker' one in the pic plastic is far superior quality)

i do wish snap on would make green (preferably hard handle) torx drivers :/

IMG_0336.jpg

stahlwille 3/8 ratchet on a side note its a really nice ratchet, the mech is only 30 tooth and doesn't have the "precision" feel of snap on ones, but very nicely finished, the satin finished chrome feels really good, about the same price as an equivalent snap on too, not sure if that's good or bad, i got this one really cheap tho (£15)

And a custom handled Snap-On FHL80 with green "hard-handle" instinct handle made for me by gj67stang on here (think he posted it on this thread a while ago)

IMG_0337.jpg

older pre instinct soft grip handle pick set, i had a few screwdrivers to match this but they were lost/stolen at my old work

IMG_0339.jpg

magnetic snap on 1/4 drive socket rail, got this off eBay, would like some 3/8 drive versions etc but i cant seem to find them here, at least not in metric, think they may be NLA from snap on? (also spot the odd socket out)

IMG_0342.jpg

my set of green hard handled prybars odd how they still make these but not the screwdrivers :headscrat (or is it just the UK that doesn't get them hard handles?)

IMG_0340.jpg

and lastly a SK tools 1/4" square driver made in the USA :D nice tool, wasn't expensive either

Oh and my snap on rollcab and box may be blue but it does have green detailing :p have a pic in the toolbox thread :D wont post it here unless anyone wants me to as its not Green...

I changed the shank on my old ratchet driver!

IMAG1344.jpg

Used a SGDMRC1-10. Which is the 3.25" shank for the interchangeable drivers. Fits in the hard handles just fine!

I find it quite hard to find green tools in the UK got the usual screwdrivers, prybars and pick set but apart from that its been quite hard to get green snap on

yeah :/ same here, i 'really' want a green 1/2 impact gun but there hard to find, one of the guys i work with has one -jealous face- no idea why snap on make it so hard as there plainly quite popular? not like they charge more for the different color ones

I have been looking on snappys wed site to find the pick set in this picture. Do they no longer make them? And by extension the mini screwdriver and pick set with the same handles?

They are selling a set with the picks and screwdrivers plus a magnet and mirror. The part number is SDMINI10G, I ordered an orange set myself.

Nice! Can you post a pic of the SDDX40?

IMG_0357.jpg

as you can see in really good condition, they are used though, just not abused :)

(yeah i know there not green >_> ill make up for it by posting my new green snap on stuff, when it arrives...)

*note the fact they were available in 7 colours at that point :pimpflash i guess V is violet and P pink?

Wish snap on still made these, and the matching pick set (the rubber ones are harder to clean...)
