I bought the two driver/socket set as well. A killer deal! What made it better for me is since I already have the SSDMR, my Snap-on guy bought back the one in the set for full value. So I end up only paying roughly $150 for the socket set, and the TMR4. I was pleased!

Damn...never even thought about doing that....maybe I'll give it a try next week and trade it on something.

Can't hurt to ask... Thinking about it, I should have asked to trade for a silver one he has. Darn...

Granted, I struck the deal doing the tango, if you will. I say "Darn, that is a good deal, but I just bought a green ratchet driver!" So, he retorts, "Well, I could give you full value for it." Well, it's more like playing Uno, really.

I wish my snap on dealer would show up more often, now that I've purchased the top box to complete my tool box i have extra space which is just screaming for green snap on to be placed in it! :D

It's not often I get anything hin green so I figure I'll post my latest green acquisitions in here....

i just got one of those too (just the screwdriver though)

I have a green instinct one already but prefer the hard handle one for a few reasons, its smaller and its easier to clean, not quite as nicely finished tho :( (love the end cap in the instinct ones with the mini driver built in)

Noticed the writing on them is only printed on too, unlike the older ones that is stamped on

Do they still make those green handled ratchets? i've seen orange ones the same on here too but assumed they had stopped doing them in favor of the 'comfort' grip ones, those look far better (not a fan of rubber handles in ratchets...)

either that or if you can get the handles on there own

i dont think you can get the handles anymore, and they dont make the ratchets with the handles, you can find them on ebay here and there. the handles are more of a hard plastic than a soft grip

shame, yeah heard they were plastic which is why i liked the look of them, easier to wipe down etc and look nicer (imho)

looking at that pic now that's not a dual 80 ratchet so must be old stock or something, guess ill just have to keep an eye out for one

New here, love all the green tools! I'm now addicted to this website and to these tools. Here is some stuff I picked up from my local SO truck today.

IMG_0378.jpg

there all on this months deals flier, got the 36" prybar, the mini files and the prybar set for £149, i already have the set of prybars so i'm selling them to a friend for about 90 means im £££ in on the deal (the 36" prybar retails in at over 80 here)

the pliers are also in the months deals, got the PWC57G's and the talon grips (137cfg) going to get the others next week after I've paid off some of my balance

*for those in the UK interested the other pliers are diagonal side cutters(87CF/g/o)
long nose pliers (196cf) and high leverage pliers (HL138ACP) need to add a g to the end of the number for green

can get them in orange too (add an o....)if that is your thing :p and red of course

*ps sorry for the poor picture
