Blue Point VGP 105G is the PN# for the set. Blue Point does not make the set in Green anymore. It took me a long time before I found this set in new condition.

Got this about 7 months ago after my composite IR 3/8" impact broke the trigger (fell out). An International T444E in a bulk van ate it. Was a good impact and might try to find a replacement plastic trigger for it.

At any rate, I was in need of another 3/8" impact for work. I have a very old 3/8" MAC gun that was made in japan and rebuilt once, but it stays at my other shop. I was on the snap on truck and he opens this box up, and says, "Here, would you like to buy this one?". I believe I said something like "That's hideous, I'll take it."

So needless to say, whenever I use this bright green thing at work, another mechanic will walk by and say "That's hideous, I'll take it!"

I had that gun for almost a year, I loved it for all the wrong reasons.i hated it because it was underwhelmingly underpowered couldn't break loose caliper bolts, had the "beast"of a gun rebuilt once and was still the same. Traded it for the new Mac gun that I love, but I still miss that little green compact gun even though it had no balls.

I hear what you're saying. It seems to be fairly decent in the medium duty fleet shop I work at. It is very loud, I noticed. They have this little muffler deal you can put in, but it seems like it zaps even more power from it.

I've always had IR guns, and love them. I'm not crazy about Snap On's guns to be real honest. I do like their 1/4" and 3/8" air ratchets, though.

Sorry for going slightly off topic, gang.

That's odd, my 325 is a beastly little gun. I work on heavy duty trucks and it is used 98% of the time over my 725

yep from this guy who sells "second hand" tools. he has alot of his ratchets almost at 80-85% of list price. He sells alot of body hammers and rarely has anything good on his tables but i was walking by today and there they were! he actually had stickers on them asking 47, 37 and 27 for them and said he'd take $100. i didnt even have to talk LOL
