The truck came by today, and inside was a bright green roll cab. I was sad.
I would get throttled if I financed one right now. When I do, it'll be bright green. :)

picked this up from ebay.
snapon 1/4" with green handle (sure its not factory)
but still need.

Everything looks correct to me. They re-released the hard handle for the Dual80 ratchets. The newer handles have SNAP-ON in larger font and are missing the USA stamp on the hard handle. Now if it said "don't use as a prybar" or something like that or had a model number on the handle then it wouldn't be genuine to a Dual80. Maybe your username is just getting the best of you.:D

For reference, a 3/8" Dual80 that matches yours:

What brand of racks are those for your hex sockets and driver bits? Hanson?

They are "mechanics time saver" brand. I got them through my snap on guy I think they were about $20 a piece. A bit pricey but a good space saver. Anyway He got them through ISN. Snap on makes them under blue point label but you can't get them in green.

Just got my second green SS box in. Working on my tool collection still....

This is a great idea! Do a custom hardwood top and tie it all together! I am now going to keep my eyes peeled for a green 78... It may be cheaper to add it to my 96 than it is to upgrade to a krl1033... Plus would have more specific drawers to seperate everything...

Looking great!

Yeah that's the plan. I plan on using Perfect Plank http://www.perfectplank.com/maple_butcher_block_tops.html for a custom top for this. I'm not settled on the location of the cabs yet otherwise I would have already ordered it.

What is the part number on this set please? TIA

Unfortunately the green set of these has been out if production for quite some time as have the orange ones. The only shot right now is on the used market but finding a set in decent shape and for a decent price is rare. The only comfort grip ones they carry now (as far as i know) is a red handled set ( FADH704A). I believe they also did a short run of 2 piece dark blue sets this past Father's Day.
But, my best guess is that the part number for that particular set would be FADH704AG or FADH704G

You can't view them online but the tool truck pos system still shows the old discontinued items and there's occasionally still inventory. I can't crack the p/n online but hoped maybe someone had it and I could check with my local truck.

Ah ok. Best of luck to you. My driver has found a couple discontinued items showing inventory and tried ordering them. So far no luck. Ended up being an inventory reporting error every time so far. But, one never knows, you may get lucky. Keep us posted if you manage to obtain a new set from snap on.

I don't have a good part number for those files.. you don't see the green file handles very often. you can get the standard red ones... but the handles say: SGHF616A, SGHF614A, sghf615A, SGHF614A,
new addition today I forgot about:
