I think I have read too many pages in this thread lately. I came up with this out in the garage. I was looking for a project and had everything on hand.
It started as a box I got at lowes on clearance and had a crinkle black finish.

and it in use as my dresser organizer

Nice work on the custom paint job on the small box fitz11!

Reminds me to ask...Minus the OEM Snappy Spray can of touch-up paint, what is out there for "Correctly shaded" Extreme green materials...any Vinyl, Spray Paints, Powders, etc people have found?
Really asking because I'm thinking of switching the trim out on my KRL to Green....

Thanks! I used rustolem fluorescent green and as you can see it's not really close. The can did say to do a white base coat though and I didn't have white on hand so mine has a primer gray base. It might be closer with the white base.
I know snap-on uses ppg paint, and that paint supply stores can custom mix spray cans. Maybe someone could take in a drawer and have them use their color camera to get a paint code. I had a spray can made to do some touch up on my truck and it cost me $15 a can.

Got in some bid war over some homemade green tire tools.. o well it happens to the best of us. also ordered this light threw my dealer to replace my older style blue one.

Does anyone know how you make the tire tool?

Like im assuming you would use either the mini screw driver or pick handles but i dont wanna destroy one and find out the core tool shaft wont go in it

Those aren't NOS, they are current stock.
NOS has nothing to do with current stock or un-available. NOS = New Old Stock. Just like there are NOS PF35 oil filters...not rare or un-available by any stretch of the imagination, you can run down to your local wally world and grab a new PF35 any day.
In my case my driver told me he pulled them out of his garage stockpile, they were covered in dust inside & out, I spent 30 mins cleaning up the nylon pouch...still some dust in the deep crevices ...IMHO, NOS Description fits, they were new and CLEARLY Old stock. He also wrote em up as "Used Tool Sale" because they weren't in his system...well the pn# was, but showed he had 0 available.
Paranoid56...If I had the PN, I would post it...but its on my receipt as "USEDTOOL", no PN#'s on the pouch I can see either.

All that BS Aside...I was under the impression that this nylon pouch assortment was still available, but the current offering is instinct handled. AND previously there also was a "Comfort Grip" handled version.

do you know the part number for that?

SDMINI10G is the current part number for the hard handle 10 pc pick and mini screwdriver set. edit tjmonsen5 beat my by a minute.

My definition of NOS is a new item that is bought after the manufacturer no longer produces the item.

If those were actual old stock hard handle, the part numbers on the picks would be 3ASAA, etc.
The "re-made" ones have part numbers like yours, SD3ASAA. The screwdriver shanks are not knurled either, and the plastic smells.

Thanks for the scolding

Call em whatever you want...year old tools covered in dust are NOS in my book.
New - Check
Old Stock - Check
I picked up a OEX080B couple weeks back...date code of 2010...NOS in my little world. I guess to some NOS = no longer available....BTW, plastic doesn't smell on these...probably old enough they've outgassed all the smell. :pimpflash

Do you have a part number for the screwdrivers? Also are they the soft or hard handle?

The handles look like they're soft to me, seems like hard handles look almost gray instead of black
