Thanks for the info appreciate it. Now can you do the same thing with the snap on screwdriver ?
The only good thing about this whole situation is that my dealer doesn't hesitate to swap any tools under warranty.
You were able to buy screwdriver as green bare tool from your dealer ?
A couple recent additions

Thanks to spudland Dave I was able to get the green housing for my impact.
Unfortunately I forgot to take pics when I swapped it over. Was super easy to do and only took a few minutes. Just have to remove the screws holding the case together and gently split it apart, then all the internals just lift out carefully and place into the new housing and re install the screws. Once it's opened up you will see a single Phillips screw head in the center of the circuit board.. DO NOT try and remove it as it holds the switch/circuit board together. The casing screws are a torx T9.
so thats a 1/4 impact? ive been holding out on buying a 1/4 because it doesnt come in green yet. you had a 1/4 in red and you swapped the body with a 3/8 green??
i looked up the part number on the 1/4 and 3/8 same body part number so i guess its works right
dammit i should of ordered a 1/4 while it was on sale in the christmas ad.
The numbers on the box for the flashlight are: Strion LED-74345 Lime
its a Streamlight brand kinda spendy was 169 off the truck
$170 for a 160 lumen rebranded flash light that normally retails for $100 (and isn't even a good deal at that).
I mean, it's your money, do what you want with it, and if guys like SnapOn, good for them, but jesus christ. Talk about getting bent over. I guess I don't have the stones to scam people, I could never look someone in the face and ring that up on the truck.
It's not rebranded, the are sold on the trucks AS stream lights. Also what I see in price different is the service, I have dropped, broken, damaged, submerged, and gone through switches loosing count.now if you bought of amazon or what ever you have to send it to streamlight for warranty repairs if they even decide to cover the damage.i have had both of the two different snap on dealers I've had fix and repair both of my led stingers many times even the led stinger I bought from cornwell, but I had to pay for the dual switch on that one because you know I didn't buy from him but it wasn't that bad.that why I buy from the trucks.
My Extreme Green KRSC46,, only because it cost me $600,,, will be putting some green tools in it starting this week..

i'd rather buy a kra single bank roll cab, much cheaper
Driver had one on the truck today he wanted $1400 for, I would buy one in a heartbeat for $600 nice score.
What is the package your talking about? 2 different boxes? They are running a special on these. They come as a package and the drivers are splitting them up.
You buy the 72" box you get a 1200.00 rebate and the second box is like 1800.00 for the smaller box. Basically you are spending 7000.00 and getting 1800.00 dollar rebate. Or you can say you are getting the second box for free. I didn't really understand it when he was explaining it to me. I just said what is the bottom line for the big box. 5200.00 I think he just orders the second box for truck stock. I'm more confused now that I explained it.Driver had one on the truck today he wanted $1400 for, I would buy one in a heartbeat for $600 nice score.

exactly right! people dont understand how hard it is to get things warranted. I own a streamlight i bought from a snap on dealer. i paid around 170 for mines to if i recall correctly, but ive already got 1 switch replaced and 2 batteries replaced right off the truck no waiting not hassle. ( batteries are only warranty for what 2 years too? but my guy never gave me a problem )
