A couple recent additions

Thanks to spudland Dave I was able to get the green housing for my impact.

Unfortunately I forgot to take pics when I swapped it over. Was super easy to do and only took a few minutes. Just have to remove the screws holding the case together and gently split it apart, then all the internals just lift out carefully and place into the new housing and re install the screws. Once it's opened up you will see a single Phillips screw head in the center of the circuit board.. DO NOT try and remove it as it holds the switch/circuit board together. The casing screws are a torx T9.

What is the part number on these green impact bodies? Someone said they will work on both the 1/4 and 3/8 impacts, as they are the same body just different anvils; would they work on the impact driver CT661QC as well?

The housing will work with both the 1/4 & 3/8 impacts and also looks like it will work with the CT661QC.

You are right....I thought I was the only one that thought that. Very tacky lookin. It's like pimp my ride had a say in it or somethjng corny that would be found in pep boys.
Nice boxes but ruin it with the casters
Can other casters be ordered?

I posted my set back on pg 100 (Post 1993) and they were sold within hours..Been a long time since I got em..but I remember there were Green ones and orange ones at my Sears back in the day. When I say back in the day I'm gonna say around 2004ish time frame.
If someone wants to start a set, I've got a #1 Phillips in LIKE NEW condition left in my desk drawer at work.

Big green fan, and needed some flex ratchets, but needed quick releases. Afterall, I'm just a hobby garage guy, so SO quick realeases work better with my mostly craftsman sockets. Problem is, snap on doesnt make QR in green... Sooooo

Order some from here and eBay.... And pull them apart. One is simple, the other--- well not so much! That handle was trashed--- and yes I even boiled them and still it wouldn't budge! Lol! And the one I destroyed was NEW--- how's that snap on guys that don't wanna scratch their tools!!! Haha!!!

New Handles--- had to mod, and using the bigger one for a 1/2 flex... Still hunting it.

Both handles had to be modded, and even then the 3/8 handle had to be trimmed a tad to make it work. Some beating on them, and now they are on... Super tight! Aren't they purrrdyyyy??

Oh yea, and a MG725 for good measure.

That's all for now- time to hunt for my 1/2 qr so long ratchet!

I have not seen a complete set for sale in a long time. I sold some stuff to a local guy about 6 months ago. We got to talking about tools and he mentioned that he had a set of green craftsman screwdrivers. Fast forward to Thurs. I found his e-mail and asked if he was ready to sell them and here they are. They were not cheap but they do look good with my other green tools.

I'm trying to get my money back as we speak on a set of ratchets I bought 4 days ago...no communication as you say....guess I need to get PayPal and a mod involved also!

I needed a new box and my so guy has had this one in stock for a while now guess nobody wanted such an ugly color so he gave my a good deal on it. Its growing on me a little but not much. Like my mica green box better. I broke up some of the green by painting the inside of the drawers out to the chrome trim black plasti dip. Added some led lights on top and some green neon underbody lights I found in the trash underneath the box. got the green and black coffee mug on top.

Remove t9 torx, open case..

I installed new leds too as they are only $3 from Snap-on.

And now finished products..
