Cannot buy bare green tools?

Bare cordless tools with out the battery or charger. As in you have a 1/2 cordless impact with two batteries and a charger, and you want a 3/8 cordless impact but you just want the gun only by itself, not the batteries or charger which add to the high price.

But you can by the green housings for most cordless tool and swap the internals over.

I am pretty sure on snap-on website you can buy the tool only with out the batteries or charger.

Oh ok gotcha. Well idk if it applies to 18v tools, but for the 7.2 I'm buying the screwdriver set (batt and charger) and then 3/8 impact tool only in red and a green body for it

Depends who your dealer is and how bad he wants to sell you something;)

Mine put a package together for me with both green 18 volt impacts and the 3/8 was sold just as a drive body.

They don't even sell green batteries separate which is a bummer. I wanted the ones from the cordless ratchets to get for my cordless 7.2 screwdriver in green but can't get them. only red.

Exactly buying green cordless tools are a waste from snap on.

Lithium batteries are black. I don't see how it can be a waste, if you like green then you like and buy green. If you want green bad enough you know how to buy, like green body I mentioned earlier. Coolguy I think you're in the wrong thread lol

the 14v battery's from the ratchets are colored like you can see here but you can't buy them separate. kind of dumb especially if you want extra batteries.

Fresh off the truck today. The driver was supposed to get me the green drill as well but the one he ordered ended up being the Ni-Cad. Anyone know the part number for the green 18v lithium drill?

Very nice.. Not often you see the 2 color snappy boxes. Seems like every Mac box I see is custom 2 color.
If I could have any box it would be a macsimizer in that same color combo as yours

Both, great dealer and spend quite a bit. I sent it in for a lack of power concern, it came back and we wanted to test it and it still had like no power IMO so he said maybe that's just the way they are, so he went to the truck and brought the green on in we did the same task and it worked like it should and I told him it used to so he gave me that one on the spot and said he would deal with it getting handled.

Hello all, new to GJ forums, been a lurker for a bit but this thread made me make an account :p

Green is my favorite color and I plan to do some green tool collecting myself. But in the spirit of green, here is my tool related pic to keep with the theme and stay on topic. Its my tool box cover which I made myself with some help from my fiancés mother...

A fresh wax!

Ratchets so far. most used are put in with the sockets

Top compartment. Tune up and brakes tools. Little scanner that is awesome. Multimeter in black case on left (youll see it in my bottom drawer picture but I keep it here now). Speeders, ratchets, knives, and misc. stuff. Also keep my grandfathers 50's or 60's screwdrivers (red and black) in the middle for good luck.

Seal spoons and scrapers that I have no room to put anywhere else lol

Screwdrivers. Pretty straight forward. Got the minis layed out.

And how the drawer usually looks. Got new torx so I jus put them on top and slide them off what I need.

Pliers and clip tools in back

Impacts, hammer, punches, roll pin punches, radiator picks, and torque wrenches
