I don't see why it wouldn't be, the insert actually makes threads on the tang of the file

The Hard Handles are removable, they screw in. Snap-on does not make the Green hard handle file set anymore. The Handle numbers are HR614 and HR615 and there were two each in the HBF500G File Set. Here are some pictures for reference. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

I bagged a set of files off ebay ! They have black and green handles, got them for a bargain price too which is even better.

I wish I could get a set of those in green.
Will trade even up for a set with black handles. Only thing it would cost me (and whomever) would be shipping. These are still new in the box and the plastic is still sealed.
If I can find a black set I'm in.
If your driver has a black set I'll happily pay you cash for the green ones.

I am going to have to look into those green snap ring pliers!
You can get them direct from the website if your driver doesn't have them. SRPC105AG or SRPC107AG for the set of 7.

While I was in Fastenal today picking up some wrenches I grabbed a tool book for Rockwood tools that they sell. Wait hold up there is something you green guys might be interested in. A 6 inch vise in almost the same green as the Snapon tools.
I finally tracked down a set of the old soft-grip picks in green to match my long green set. It came in the 12-piece set with the 4 picks, plus 4 mini tip screwdrivers and 4 mini torx drivers. Pretty psyched on tracking these down. Now I just have to find trays for them.

I finally have something for this thread, and by accident - green was the only colour on the truck. I added the 1/4 square drive and the long shaft too.
Do these work with hard handles too?

So I've looked through this and am starting my own collection with the green instinct handled screwdriver kit, lithium screwdriver, 1/4 and 3/8 electronic ratchets and an extreme green krl722...my collection will get much bigger, but I was wondering if this counts since I havent seen a picture of one yet, Irwin makes the snap-on kits if I'm not mistaken, so I figure I can add this to my green collection

Yes, with a little bit of work, hard handle ratcheting screwdrivers can accept interchangable shafts.
Man I love this I really want to add a slide locker and a actual SO hutch and ditch the homemade one I made for my Classic seriesRound one then. Here is the green Snap-on gear. If this isn't enough for you, I'll break out the SK, Greenlee and John Deere.....
