Dang that is sweet! I love that. What's the model number on the orange box?
I recently bought a kra25 to redo in green. How did you get the chrome handle that clean or how did you find a replacement?

Edit: just saw pic with Inside, man that's slick! Still curious about the chrome handle as mine is a bit rusted up.

So thank you, the orange box is an kra250B model with tray i am not sure but i think the kra25 have the same dimensions ? The handle is a new one i ordered at my s.o. dealer. So i have also bought a new one for my red box but honestly if you would like to make your box green, think about the idea of an non-glossy black handle i think this would be look great.

I'm really attached to chrome, I always pick chrome over black. I think my kra25 is a bit bigger. Don't have a pic on my phone but here's the catalog with the dimensions.

Has anyone used these SO magnetic socket holders thats all over ebay? I saw some green ones and thought about this thread. Of course they have them in red, orange, maybe few other colors. Was wondering what they look like with sockets installed, just don't see how they would work very well, unless Im missing something.

not sure if I got pics to insert so I am copying /pasting the address:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Snap-on...1&pid=100005&rk=5&rkt=6&sd=280686118685&rt=nc

They are sold by 1CloseOutDeals for the most part, there may be other sellers with them, not sure. I just wondered if they work and what they look like loaded up. ps u know i am pretty new to GJ, but been hooked on tools since I was a toddler, long time addict - anyway how do i post pics that are saved on my laptop? I'm sure there's info on here, and I will look for it on my own, please post a link just n case i cant find it, or msg me with info/link. Thanx all!

I am pretty sure that snap on designs those to take up the maximum amount of space so that you need to buy a bigger (read more $$$) tool box. I have not used them, but I have used similar cutouts. Maybe if you are working with a bunch of shallow drawers, or if you were an airplane mechanic. I have also seen my dealer with hard plastic vertical units in green. Those would work better to save space. I really wish snap on had designed the plastic trays that the sockets come in to be narrower, they are really nice and the magnet is pretty strong.

They have been listed on & off for over a year now...maybe closer to 2 years...I did get all the ones they had at the time (3 different green versions IIRC). I'll take a pic of them loaded up. If anything I wish they were still available and in multiple formats...I would order many more sets to cover the others sockets I'd like to organize...

I love them, very hard to find though, shame snap on decided to discontinue them :(

Sure they take up more space than the Hansen holders I have for 3/8 and 1/2 sockets, but as i keep my 1/4 stuff in a shallow drawer they are perfect, just wish i could find some deep and SAE 1/4 ones.

I went A bit overboard with green this month, finally got my toolbox cover and a few green items and the new snap on catalog. Then came home to a package of new Mac tools screwdrivers.

Do you prefer the matco drivers over the snap on ones? Also do they get along with the snap on green tools or do you have to separate them?

Been after one for a while to replace the instinct handle version i have at home (got the normal green version in my work box) like this far better, i fin d instinct handle ones are too big, and i dislike soft handle screwdrivers.

Still amuses me that they don't offer them in the UK (being that they are a st Patrick's day special...)

Wrnchmonkey & JoeR...how do you like those lights? My guy saved me a green one...told him I'd sleep on it....worth it? work good? good battery life?

im liking mine so far, although i need to ask my guy about it cuz i was looking in the new catalog and it shows it with 2 hooks and mine only came with 1, another hook would make it a lot more useful
