Do they still make that? I dipped an old pair of pliers I had about 10 years ago or so and didn't have much luck with the stuff. I was more interested in dipping my fingers in the cardboard can of it haha

My 42" prybar came in (used, but nice condition) and I fixed a few of those sickly looking red handled tools I bought a few weeks ago.

i also have a 1/2" set the same way in red.

Join the pics

best regards

I wanted to let you know your boxes inspired me to get mine powder coated.
Here's my Kra25 in a Bright green. I want to paint the raised snap-on logo in black but I didn't have a steady enough hand to do it so looking for other ideas to paint the raised area.

I've been eying those pliers for a while. Are they as nice to use as they are to look at?
I have not used them yet. They are similar to my channellock versions. In theory I could see the channellocks being better. The blue ones have a different crimp style, it is almost like an "M" and it seems like it would allow for a better crimp. Of course the snappy ones are green and that weighs heavily on my opinion.

Re: The Green Tools ****

I have both the snappy and channellock crimpers the channel locks when crimping the connectors seem to slide to the end and the insulation gets cut

Thanks for posting it. The pliers are not always the same color anyways, it will look better than the red!

I'd tell you but I've misplaced the receipt. Must be in the garage somewhere, but where I don't know. Hell, I can't even remember what I paid for it, but I'm sure it was far from bargain price.
I will look again.

Wow. I didn't even realize the green blowguns were in demand. I'm pretty sure I paid 15 bucks for mine, and my driver has at least 50 of them on his truck.

Yeah I'm really just trying to fathom this and I can't. I have paid higher prices than normal for some things before ..but a blow tool?

Found the receipt.
AT4101G - $29.50

Been in use last night and this morning. So far, no complaints. I'm kinda hard on blow guns, it will be interesting to see how it holds up.

FYI for those interested
The new green snap on says snap on but the tip is flush so if you have tips the will not snap on tip

I believe the older green ones are astro pneumatic and can use tips and available in different sizes

It is crazy how much some of these green tools go for **** the 4 piece green adjustable wrench set is crazy money

11 months? 2 of my drivers have had those on the truck for about a year.... Drop an American a line next time; it'll cost you more for shipping, but at least you'll get it quicker.

Oh, and here's a little something I whipped up recently, it's a rotisserie-rebuild of a 1979 Wilton Tradesman 1750.

:shocking: I love the green wilton. I just stripped my snap on branded wilton and was thinking the green may be too much but I'm digging yours! I think I am going to have to do mine in extreme green too. Very nicely done!
