Are there green hard handles available for a 1/8" shank?? I'd like to switch a few of my picks over to green hard handles and put a hard handle on my brass seal spoon. PN if anyone knows it'd be much appreciated!

Yes those are westling, they aren't quite yellow even though the light makes it like like that, they are a set they tried to do in green but couldn't get the anodizing correct. Thanks though, and the rubber wedding rings are awesome if you turn wrenches daily.^^ excellent vid, I like the centre console thing there, single din toolbox handle holder,
what are the yellow socket holders? westling trays?
I like the custom painted tools and trays, green wedding ring LOL
So I know this video isn't going to compare to some of the pictures I've seen on here, but my green snap-on collection is pretty decent. Let me know what yall think

$50 from my dealer![]()
Is that still in production
There is a guy on eBay who sells them but not sure of part number thru snap on thou
I really wish I knew the part # because I guarantee it's probably half the price directly from Snap-on.
Anyway, here's a link to the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Snap-On-Green-Replacement-Hard-Handle-1-8-Mini-Picks-Hooks-Awls-Screwdrivers-/111424961062?hash=item19f171fa26&item=111424961062&vxp=mtr
Uuh.... No they are not actually.
How much are they then? Considering the orange hard handle pocket screwdriver is $7 with the same sized handle and the screwdriver shank. I doubt it'd cost more than that.

Here is the part # and price for the 1/8" green hard handle and the other colors available.
SPP462AR8RG $6.35 Green
SPP46-2AR8R $6.50 Black
SPP46-2AR8RO $6.50 Orange
SPP46-2AR8RR $6.50 Red
Not sure why the green is slightly cheaper but that is good for you.
Uuh... So, they're actually less than half the price of the ebay auction and Snap-on has free shipping too.
BTW thanks for the part #'s.
My fault...Sorry about that.I looked at pic and price but didnt look at length of handle.I was thinking of the full size handles for screwdrivers etc..
No worries, I know the larger handles are actually pretty pricey like the SDD2R1RG which is the smallest standard sized is $13.65. Which to me seems a little expensive. Now that I know the part number for the mini handles I can put some on a couple of my 1/4" ratchets. I personally think the standard screwdriver handles are too thick for a 1/4" ratchet. I mean the handle itself is wider than the ratchet's head. It just looks funny to me.
Here is the actual green hard handle replacement for the the 1/4" ratchet.
THD72-12G $19.95
This handle is quite a bit smaller than the SDD2 handles and bigger than the SPP mini handles. I almost think the SPP mini would be to small for a 1/4" ratchet handle. Just my opinion though.
Thanks for the part #, do you happen to have the part # for actual 3/8" and 1/2" handle? I've used the SDD2 handles on 3/8" ratchets but still found them too thick for my liking. Now that you mention it I went and looked at my pick set, and I think you may be right about the SPP being too small. Those THD handles sure are pricey though.
I'm guessing that the 3/8" ratchet handle is FHD80-12G?
You are correct on the 3/8" part number and to my knowledge they do not make a specific one for the 1/2" drive in the hard handles. I believe the SDD6 series handle is the exact same size that came on the 1/2" drive. However you may have to drill out the handle to get it to fit.
Thanks again, I kind of figured the SDD6 was the same size as from all the pics I've seen, and from all the people who have converted SDD6 handles to their 1/2" ratchets they looked like the same size.
It's unfortunate that the specific ratchet handles are so much more expensive than the SDD handles. I guess I'll just have to do a ratchet a month or so instead of trying to do a dozen ratchets at once.
For 1/2 drive I use the sdd8 handles and the 3/8 handle is the same as sdd2 and 1/4 uses a smaller handle
I might try a sdd6 on 1/2 ratchet but you will still have to drill out all handles for 1/2
I finally have some green to post.

I ordered a green pry bar and hammer set but they're back ordered until mid June. I could settle for red and have them Monday but that's no good lol
That is one SHARP looking vise![]()
You guys that have green toolboxes, do you find that it is too much? I have been looking at new boxes and I thought maybe green, but I don't know if I can handle it. I feel I may end up just looking at it, rather than getting anything done.
